we see Hiruzen as a geezer because the young dude from Jman's and Oro's flashbacks had like 10 panels in the entire manga which limited his character development... it's also obvious that most readers find young characters more interesting than the old ones and we all know how a lot of people (there are honorable exceptions ofc) tend to overrate their favs and underrate the ones they don't care about

anyway I'm way too tired to debate so haters won't be countered (sadly)

You dont know that, what if we get flashbacks of prime hiruzen?

Dont be so quick to judge, we know nothing of hiruzen as of yet, his "prime" could very well be in store for us .

well some people came up with this weird view/logic and decided that he is weak while the writer wrote him as a HOKAGE.
and about being "old" personally the old bad ass masters in any series are my favorites (skill/experience/class/knowledge/pride/powerhouse/pure bad assery)

so lets see :

1. he is a hokage.

2. student of the second and the first, defeated them with their RAW power AND a healthy oro.

3. hailed as "god of the shinobi world" "the professor".

4. has the strongest summon.

5. he represents the monkey in this series lol and if you know anything about japanese anime's/culture, this means he's the real deal (serious shit).

him being weak is impossible (could give the writer a heart attack) and if you use a logic then come up with him being "weak" as a conclusion then stop and reconsider using that logic (not valid/doesn't work in this series).

am a huge fan of all the hokage's BUT i still think that he was the strongest in is prime (yes after all that).

he wasn't inferior (managed to stop a healthy oro), he was OLD remember the OTHER statement "a joke compared to his prime".
