I will say Manga, though I have a few favorite comics (like Watchmen), Manga tend to keep my attention a lot longer

What i dislike from comics ( not all of them but most ) is that they have that super hero who never trained hard for anything but still saves the world every now and then.

*cough cough* Superman *cough cough*

I think both are pretty good but I prefer manga since it has some very good art.

Comic book characters tend to be ideals to strive for rather than actual characters.

The point is to WANT to be a superman and not actually look at the character. I agree, it can get tiresome, but it can be great fun to just picture yourself as certain characters. Really lets your imagination run wild sometimes. It isn't the most stimulating way to write a hero, but it's still fun.

Superman is a perfect example of a character who is too OP,he's like Wolverine where they have to weaken him in some comics otherwise nobody would be able to him.

Well I wouldn't compare him to Wolverine, but he is too OP.

However, to be honest Flash is muuuuuch more OP. Flash can solo just about anybody, so they have to use plot to weaken him.

Depends on the artist/writer, tbh. Not all manga are good. Not all comics are good.

Story, I'll say manga.

Art, Comics.

How is having to read from right-left a disadvantage for Manga?

I think it's the "Getting used to it" aspect.

Like when you've been reading one way your whole life, and for one story you gotta switch that up. Humans are quite perceptive and adaptive but it's still irksome from a western view.

Like platying an old platform games and having to deal with the inverted controls sometimes. After a while it's fine and dandy, but at first it's a pain in the ass.

Wolverine is just like Superman where they are nigh invincible except Logan has survive some incredible things like getting fried by the sun, being reduced to a puddle, being beheaded multiple times and so on.

I'm assuming most people on this site read English, so naturally they would he used to left-to-right. I know that when I started reading Manga it took a while to get used to Right-to-Left.

No I understand, Wolverine just isn't Superman level is what I meant.

One time Wolverine was burned to where nothing but his brain was left... And he regenerated. OP as hell.

Itachi has one of the lowest staminas... o_O. You must be high to think hes OP.

Try telling that to the crazy horde of Itachi fans who shout Totsuka blitz gg (that's including Kishimoto himself)

also by the way Itachi's stamina is never actually exploited or used so we just have to take Kishi's word for it, it's not a valid limit. It's basically may as well just be kryptonite.

Agreed,Superman is more OP than Wolverine and he has only a few weaknesses unlike Wolverine where someone just has to cut off his head, drop him in space, drop him in a ocean, use Carbonadium,or cause enough damage where his healing factor can't repair fast enough.

I'm more into comics it gets annoying as hell tho trying to get all they tie ins for a certain arc, with certain events (e.g. A vs. X, Fear itself) I'm more of a Marvel fan DC has its moments but to each their own. Been following Naruto from day one tho anime watched most of the fillers... the last round was kinda bunk tho. I'll do a quick break down of my pros and cons of both Manga and Comics
Manga-
Pros:Weekly Releases, Variety (pretty sure theres a manga out there about everything/ variety in themes) Well developed main characters
Cons: Black and white print, story gets lost and meaning gets lost in translation, hard to find hard copies of your favorite series, locally , story can be stagnant , and plots can be repetitive

Comics: Pros : 90% of characters are well developed and have some sort of pertinent history, color print, easier accessed locally to hard copies
Cons: tie ins , released at a slower, story lines / plots are basically the same, multiverse concept (gets to be a pain in the ass)

Despite all the cons of comics is my choice. @ the op make a actual poll its not that difficult.

Seem like the Manga is starting to go by that code of conduct that the comics used to go by, well DC still follows Marvel has backed off. Different strokes for different folks. Personally I moved on from Comics.

I see positives in both. Mangas are a closed story. Naruto is just Naruto, a big story in a closed caption. Comics are multiple multiple stories. Ongoing stories, one shots, etc...

I like comics more, but both are great.
