Personality: Kizaru seems to be very laid-back and easygoing, speaking rather slowly and occasionally drawing out the last word of his sentences, which is strange considering this behavior is in direct contrast with his Devil Fruit power. He takes everything lightly regardless of the severity of the moment.

History: Born from Sunagakure Borsalino was highly respected in the village for his prowess in taijutsu being naturally talented more so than others in the village. His strikes were more faster and stronger than most. because of this he never used a sword or any bladed weapon because he felt that it was a hinder to his fighting skills. other than his ninja tools, his fist and feet were his only weapons in combat.
After mastering all the elements as he progress thru the ninja ranks, he became especially fond of lightning due to the many versatile ways it can inhance his Taijutsu. He liked wind too because of the adaptability from mid to long range. After gaining mastery of the two element, he was able to use all lightning techniques with only one handseal and use all wind techniques with faster handseals than most ninja.
From there he decided to leave the village a sunagakure to spread his wings and become stronger. As he began his quest to be the strongest he heard of the legendary swords of the seven swordsmen while lounging in a tavern while inside of village hidden in the rivers. He was really interested in the sword with the lightning specialty and thought to himself if he was the wielder of that sword he would have true mastery of lightning and become a god of shinobi. From that moment on he decided that he was going to become stronger to defeat all that get in his way of gaining the legendary lightning sword of the seven missing swordsmen.
He currently continues his journey venturing across the ninja world searching for the one that wields the lightning sword.

A very useful distraction, the technique can produce up to 9 copies of the user and unless the user has a doujutsu or a sensory ability, he won't be able to tell the difference between each afterimage. Although perfectly visible, the images flicker slightly and are to some extent translucent, not being easily confused with clones. While the target is distracted the user can attack with weapons or taijutsu. Although the enemy will see the user moving to attack, he won't be able to notice which afterimage is going to attack.
