Tsunade can survive decapitation Proof

Both halves had to be put back into place to regenerate, she cannot grow back new body parts.

In the offical translation she said i can regenerate limbs and organs. Ask Tazzilla for it, because i don't have his resources.
she summoned katsuyu because she needed the kages healed to not herself. if she would have used regeneration she wouldn't have enough chakra to heal the kages. katsuyu barely had enough chakra from tsunade fo heal the kages. that's why the healing process took to long.

Moving on, the brain sends signals to the body by sending electrical pulses through neurons. This gives the body it's actions. If it is separated the body can no longer act based on the will of the brain. As a result, her bodies healing process would not subconsciously be activating, and even if it could, pending head roll it cannot reattach because 1 the body cannot move, 2) the head cannot move. With decapitation comes desth even if s body flails. The only person seen to survive is Hidan due to immortality; however, even then he could not move his body...because physically its impossible.


Tsunade crested the Byakugou to tank large scale attacks such as fire and stab wounds...however notice she was on her last legs when she had been bisected...without Katsuyu she couldn't put herself together despite having her seal still on her forehead. Instead she seemingly had to summon Katsuyu in order to be put back together instead of healing herself (though the summon was for.the Kage as a whole).


Based on human biology and her inability to simply create new legs from scratch (let alone something complex like an entire body or head), I'd say decapitation is still Hidan's realm of surivival.

I've learnt from Skulduggery Pleasant, without a brain, people can't regenerate.

She loses the ability to think and thus stops her from forcing her cells to regenerate. Her regenerative ability ultimately stems from her brain and without it, she dies.

Yes i agree the body do control a lot of fhe actions on human body, but this is not something the human body controls. this justu is controled by the byakugou seal. And the byakugou seal is matined by chakra. regeneration is forced by this. even though this is medically impossible to surive, she surives it because it is forced. That is why the justu have such heavy drawbacks.

If she just needed to heal herself she would have used regeneration. medical ninjutsu consumes to much chakra as it is regeneration is on another scale. The kages were her first concern so regeneration was out of the answer.

What did I just read? Yes, people can hold their breathe for minutes but the head has to be attached to the body. Without any lungs, there is no oxygen. So, how is a severed head going to retain oxygen?

her not being able to die in battle is most likely an hyperbole...and not to mention when ur decapitated it usually renders a great shock on ur spinal cord (cause it snaps, gets separated) and renders u unconscious, and even at that it causes ur brain to stop functioning after several seconds. And she can't possibly move when the brain can't send any neurons/electrical signals ....in other words she can reattach her body parts ....she dies after a couple of seconds and that isn't enough to do shit...

I could understand something like a slow cut throughout the neck or an almost decapitation, but a quick clean cut would end with a Fatality.

This mean if she does get an automatic heal from it, it would have to reform her ENTIRE body. As she's stated the body can only divide the cells so many times...decapitation would virtually be suicide to reform. Additionally she'd have to remake organs, and everything through through simply chakra alone (with cells in her head). And even then it's more likely the jutsu activates on command

As we saw, Tsunade played medic to heal the Kage so she did not heal her legs....while she may not even be able to..let's assume she could heal her legs by reforming them. This is far more difficult with a brain due to the fact its decapitation. If Tsunade could remain concious, her brain would be acting on overload and panic having just lost its body (chicken with its head cut off-like). She'd have to forcefully want too and focus on reforming her body.

But what opponent is going to sit there and watch?! They'd start curb stomping her face into the ground. And that's on top of if she'd even have the cell count to reform her whole body.


Which is once again why I firmly believe a swift and precise decapitation is fatal.

i 100 percent agree. in a 1 vs 1 fight she dead
but in team fight she could surive. ^_^

Actually I think her regeneration ability is similar to wolverine ....... She can heal herself if her body is together but in trouble if disconnected. Thats why Katsuya formed a link between her upper and lower part.
