senjutsu is still made of chakra, but sage mode is made out of nature chakra and absorbing that turns you in a frog statue if you can't control it

natural energy was obviously included into naruto's rasengan which means it would have been stronger...

as for madara absorbing the attack there obviously wasnt enough natural energy in the attack for it to change them..

even nagato's path had to absorb a fair amount before it changed...

Possible answer would be that Obito's ability is a higher level than Madara's. It react directly. But like Itachi and like reality says. There is nothing, no object, no jutsu, no magic that does not have an negative effect. In this case it is Senjutsu for Obito. But it appears that his style he is using does as well block Taijutsu to reach him, meanwhile Madara's does not.

As well it stated that the ability seals the jutsu, in the narutopedia if I remember right. I was only Nagato's doll that absorbed it directly into himself. But in the Narutopedia if I remember right then it seals all jutsus.

Naruto Rasengan was made by Physical, Spiritual and Nature chakra, it's probably that Nature chakra is reflecting his shield ability or something.

naruto's rasengan while in sage mode consists of chakra mixed with natural energy .. making it a sage tech... sage techs work against obito because they arnt just pure chakra but also have that natural energy with them...

Normal rasengan uses ninjutsu which Obito can nullify since he has the power of the SO6P who created ninjutsu the SO6P didn't create senjutsu so that's his weaknes thats the difference between the two rasengans one uses ninjutsu one uses senjutsu

Rasengan is spinning chakra, if he was senjutsu chakra inside his body, it would only make sense that the rasengan is made up of that chakra.

like i said before.. u need a considerable amount of natural energy for it to turn u to stone...

even naruto when training had to absorb enough of it before even turning into a frog...

even nagato's path had to absorb enough from naruto before he stared turning into a frog...

there obviously wasnt enough natural energy in the attack for it to make a big difference against madara

This would be my assumption...Senjutsu operates exactly like Frog Katama.

As such, instead of natural energy forming the attack, natural energy surrounds the ninjutsu.

As such, natural energy escorts the ninjutsu offering a more powerful attack.

Natural energy is only 1/3 part of the chakra that makes up senjutsu, and it is not a direct source, therefore it is very diluted by Narutos own chakra, making it not enough to really turn anyone to stone. Plus its just a limited amount of natural energy in that small attack compared to the infinite natural energy in the universe

The preta path actually had to absorb pure natural energy for a little while before he actually turned into stone, so its not like absorbing natural energy that has been diluted so much into a small attack is gonna instantly turn him into stone

the senjutsu blocked the Obito's ninjutsu negating technique only... again it only blocks ninjutsu, that does not mean obito cant dream of blocking senjutsu..

By blocking the ninjutsu negation with senjutsu, Obito was no longer immune to ninjutsu and thus the rasengan hit him
