I decided to stray away from the from the pattern of redundant threads week in, and week out with the release of every new chapter. Today I just want to clear up two things have been bothering me:
1. What exactly did Jiraya teach Naruto in the time skip between part 1, and part 2?:
Aside from natural progression as a ninja (that Naruto could have made with Kakashi as his sensei) what exactly did Naruto learn? The training was meant to teach Naruto to harness the Kyuubi's chakra, yet when Naruto returned he was as hopeless as ever (in regards to controlling the 9 tails chakra).
He didn't get any better at Rasengan control either, since he still needed clones to form it, nor did he work on chakra nature training (Asuma, Kakashi, and Yamato helped with that). Now saying that Naruto did not improve at all from part 1 to 2 would be a lie, but as already stated what did Jiraya do that an adept shinobi such as Kakashi, or Ebisu couldn't teach Naruto?
I understand that leaving was as much to protect Naruto, as it was to train, but don't you think Jiraya could have done much more for him? Especially when witnessing the success he had with previous students (Minato, Yahiko, Nagato, Konan), and adding in the huge amount of improvement Naruto made after leaving Jirayas tutelage (Mastering Rasenshuriken, and Sage Mode).
2. How do you think Ay will react to encountering Sasuke once again?:
This is the guy who Naruto begged the Raikage not to kill, Naruto fell to his knees (in a winter climate) and litterally begged the Ay not to set out the order to eliminate Sasuke, and what does Sasuke do that very day? Attacks the Raikage with murderous intent, and in the process Ay loses his right arm.
Seeing as how the 4th Shinobi War is all about sparked the creation of the Ninja Alliance, and with Sasuke currently being a part of that Alliance, will Ay be able to "turn the cheek" for the greater good, and allow Sasuke to live? If Ay tries to kill Sasuke, all of the principles this war inspired will be tarnished, and another cycle of hatered will begin.
What is Ay's move here?
Discuss.
