Some members on the base have often stated that if there were more than one attack coming in contact with the mirror at the same time, that the mirror would not be able to change and synchronize it's properties to match the oncoming attacks. Lets say they are all different chakra natures for the sake of the argument...
However, the entry clearly states the mirror is able to change everyone of its properties. Properties as in plural. More than one attack. The key word here is property.
a quality or trait belonging and especially peculiar to an individual or thing - that's what the dictionary thinks it is.
Fire release is one of the basic nature transformations. Fire-based chakra is needed for someone to perform katon.
If I say that the "trait" is the fire-based chakra, and the individual or "thing" is the jutsu(lets say a simple fireball jutsu). Than that is one triat/chakra type for one thing/jutsu. So the ratio for trait to thing is 1: 1. Lets say that one of mei's lava ninjutsu strikes the mirror. The ratio for trait to thing is 2:1. Fire-based chakra and earth-based chakra make up this nature kekkei genkei. So the point I'm trying to convey here is that an attack could just have one property.(Fire ball jutsu). Whilst another attack could have two properties (one of mei's lava style techniques). Property is presented as plural in the databook entry. Lava style has more than one property. However, since yata can change and synch to more than one property it can be negated
I know the word attributes come to play, but that word is interchangeable with properties in this scenario, and in this scenario they are both plural.
Yes the Yata Mirror needs more feats but some members downplay it as if its not a spiritual item...
Food for thought
The yata mirror negated the kunais and the exploding tags attached to them. This should not be noted as an impressive feat, but rather noted as an attack other than chakra that was blocked by the yata mirror.
