Also, that logic of yours is flawed. Hashirama is right in front of Madara, and Tobirama is still in the area, yet you don't hear a peep from Madara. Why? Because he's actually a well developed villain. Same applies to Nagato, you don't see him tireless complaining about his "Woe is me" backstory to Jiraiya now do we? Orochimaru has fought Tsunade and Hiruzen yet he feels no need to "guilt trip" them. Why? Because unlike Obito, his plans don't revolve around the death of his parents. None of the villains sans Obito are seen blabbing about their backstory because unlike Obito, it's not their focal point. That in itself allows them to get things done.

My internet is slow, I apologise. And Nagato was concealing his identity at the time and didn't fully reveal who he was to Jiraiya. Rin is just his symbol to the plan. He on numerous occasions has mentioned the concept of people betraying their comrades in the ninja world.

Here Obito states to Naruto what he would think about himself if he failed to surpass his masters which is exactly what Obigo did, he failed I protecting Rin and fell into shrewd loneliness.

It's psychological war too. Obito's talk with Minato is just a part of ongoing fight, to convince his opponents of defeat and failure on every level if he can do that. Naruto threw it all back at him with his reply about him not becoming a hokage.

Also, every time someone asks him " why" Obito seems at a loss and cannot correctly justify his selfish goal of dream world. To cover that up, he starts to blame other people for his own actions counting their real or supposed failures.

I hate to say it but for all his shortcoming with actual leadership, Nagato had better plan than him.

You don't seem to understand. Even after Nagato's true identity was revealed, he didn't feel the need to go into an endless banter about his backstory. Yahiko wasn't the focal point of his actions as Rin was for Obito. I want you to ask yourself this, if Rin never died, and was alive to this date, would Obito have become the man he was today? I want you to stop for a moment and take Rin out of the equation. Now let me ask you, is there still a plan? Is there anything driving Obito to continue with this war? Listen to everything that Obito says and take out everything that has absolutely nothing to do with Rin. If you answer no to any of these questions, or you can do the last task I asked you, you just proved my point.

Currently from what we known, Obito's motivation isn't really powerful enough to start a World War.
If he has other reasons other than Rin and his Team, I think Kishi should reveal it already along with another stronger development without any flashbacks that involve Rin or his childhood.
He said it's not just because of Rin, then he needs to show that, not tell.
