Congrats on making thread 420000. Lol that's a nice, neat number.
Kakashi > Base Jiraiya low dif
Kakashi > Base Jiraiya w/Gamabunta high dif
SM Jiraiya w/aid from Ma and Pa > Kakashi mid dif
SM Jiraiya w/aid from Ma and Pa + giant toad(s) > Kakashi low dif

What makes such a difference between the one now and before?
Hm, it seems pretty unaminous so I guess you got a point. I thought Kakashi's taijutsu, Sharingan reflexes, clone usage, and various jutsus would make him more of a matchup though.
Kakashi is stronger at this point, objectively speaking. His base form is noticeably superior to Jiraiya's in most, if not all aspects, and his trump card is significantly faster than any technique Jiraiya has as his disposal, nearly impossible to counter, and much more easily accessible than Jiraiya's ascended arsenal (Sage Mode, which requires decent prep time).
Nah its not unanimous, lol. A lot voted Kakashi on the poll, they're just not speaking up.
So not true, dude. It depends. Kakashi, like Minato and Itachi, is a shinobi that has the capability of turning the tides by formulating a strategy that could take out a stronger opponent.Any Sannin > Kakashi
Kakashi > base Jiraiya high diff IMO
That's a very nice number indeed *_*
I do agree that base Kakashi is stronger than base J-man but shouldn't summonings be capable of allowing J-man to get to SM?
The toads wouldn't allow that buildup in Kakashi's eye and Kakashi does not defeat the toads easily.
I think you're underrating J-man dude. He's still got oil, swamp world, hair jutsu, the frog stomach s/t technique, and can turn people into a toad. I'll change high diff to mid diff but I definitely don't think Jiraiya would get beat low diff since he's smart too.So not true, dude. It depends. Kakashi, like Minato and Itachi, is a shinobi that has the capability of turning the tides by formulating a strategy that could take out a stronger opponent.
Wow. You underestimate Kakashi. No toads or no SM renders Jiraiya very vulnerable to Kamui.
Kakashi's Raikiri kunai was capable of cutting through multiple boulders, thus I see no reason why it wouldn't punch a hole straight through any summon it is hurled at. Raiden is also a feasible, albeit less efficient, option to deal with summons. Hell, a lesser version of Raikiri (Chidori Eiso) was chopping off the limbs of the second strongest Bijuu.
I truly hope you're not suggesting that Gamabunta or any of the other giant toads now possess top tier sensing abilities and can simultaneously react to a nigh instantaneous technique. Not when the likes of Pain failed to detect Kamui.
I'm not saying that, I'm saying that the toads aren't just gonna let themselves get hit. They'll make it difficult for Kakashi and that's what will give Jman an opening for SM.
And I wasn't implying sensing, I was implying that the toads wouldn't just let Kakashi sit there and gather chakra to attack Jiraiya with. I give them more credit than that.
