I think the saddest moment was Jiraiya's death, its sad because you knew that he wouldn't be able to escape and death would be inevitable unless kishi pulled something out of his ass, but he didn't.

I agree, Jiraiya's death was sad, plus all the reactions of everyone close to him. Although what really got me was the speech of minato and Kushina to baby naruto before they died.
