Both hashirama must have had very good genjutsu defense. I mean they have been fighting uchihas for years. They must have some form of resistance or way of combating the sharingan. Because during the fight between madara and hashirama they seemed to have made eye contact several times. Yet hashirama wasn't genjutsu'd to our knowledge.

What method do you guys think they use to combat genjutsu. Or were they just too much for the uchihas they fought I.:dunno:.

What fight the naruto generations fight? That was non canon. In the manga there was no proof of eye contact. And if a person is strong willed enough they can break genjutsu even though it is hard as fk. But the easiest way to counter genjutsu is... ding ding ding that's right you guessed it not making eye contact!

I believe so too, I also don't think that he has Amaterasu, there have been too many moments when either of those would have been perfect techs to use for him to just not use them. Either that or he has just completely forgot how to use those two and any rinnegan tech and is just sticking to susanoo, taijutu, and Katon.

Your second choice is correct. We all know Kishi doesn't use logic in his manga all the time it would kill the story. For now he doesn't. Usually every Uchiha have their own ocular jutsus. How can Itachi and Madara have the same jutsu even though they're not from the same family?

Yes he does it's a manga fact in order to have susanoo you need tsukiyomi and amaterasu. You need those two specific abilities in order to awaken susano'o why do you think Obito said it's a rarity for a user to awaken susano'o
