How good is Itachi's taijutsu?

I think his taijutsu is equal to or better than guy's but im not surprised that you wont agree with that, i can understand that, but comparing him with kakashi, and even worse, naruto? really?

With his sharingan he can likely match anyone in taijustsu defensively, and may find small openings. I'd say he's naturally above most characters in terms of skill, but clearly not in strength when compared to someone like Lee or Gai, who surpass Itachi in taijustu (although I expect he would be able to hold his own with the sharingan, yet be unable to win with taijutsu alone).

In my opinion Itachi's natural skill is one of the highest, and with the sharingan it seems almost impossible to defeat Itachi with taijutsu alone, since he can always read his opponents' moves. Another exception may be against the Raikage, who Sasuke showed to be very difficult to keep up with.

Well he´s certainly in the higher tiers, for example he likely still dominates his younger brother in 1v1 taijutsu combat and I feel rather confident when I say that he´s still far better than base-Naruto in taijutsu, hell he even supressed KCM Naruto during their brief fight (I know, anime stuff but I´m sure he would do that well anyway).

I don´t know how well he fares against Gai and Kakashi in terms of taijutsu, but with his extreme mastery of the Sharingan's perception abilities he is very likely able to stand up to them and eventually beat at least Kakashi if the fight only entails taijutsu, which it never will and his extensive use of genjutsu makes him one of the most dangerous opponents you can face, but not in terms of massive explosions that so many overuse for terms of power. I want to see him go up against large numbers of foes too like Madara did, but everyone excels differently and group-combat is far different from 1v1, especially if the Sharingan is in the play.

itachi kept up with km naruto and bee, who had shark sword held in the hands, at the same time; even though, Itachi retreated after bee was using 8 swords because itachi was unarmed.

In short, itachi's taijutsu is one of the best in the show.

Should have made it a poll. Why because this thread automatically starts comparing two characters. Taijutsu is not Itachi's fighting style. Itachi uses his sharingan to confuse his opponents, catch them offguard and kill the with a kunai(expert). Itachi is not better than gai in taijutsu but he surely can keep up with the best of them. Due to the sharingan abilities, that means better reaction time. Gai has to fight Itachi looking at his feet, But because of Gia's extensive knowledge in taijutsu, he doesn't lose that much of a disadvantage, but he loses some none the less. Any little bit of power can help in a fight. Plus there's finger jutsu that we didn't learn tell Part 2.

No one can handle bee sword style unless they have a means to block sword attacks while moving fast.. Itachi only had his hands and feet so he did the best thing he could which was evade it. Bee doesn't even know what he doing with his own swords haha XD

Also Bee used Sword fighting instead of just Taijutsu

There's a difference between getting hit & getting pushed back. Itachi didnt get touched by bee's kenjutsu (mind you this is one of the best sword styles in the entire series). Even gai would have a rough time fighting bee's 8 sword style without any gates. Itachi being able to come out of that exchange without any injuries proves that he is extremely adept with taijutsu.

Btw databook was basing it off of a slightly blinded itachi.
