He's in a desert. That gives him the location and the sand necessary to pull Sasuke out of Susanoo. Any other location would be Sasuke's win but the desert gives Gaara a massive advantage.

Considering Sasuke is literally stepping in a buttload of sand as soon as the match starts, its safe to say he can. Sasuke still has to form and mount the arrow before he fires it.

Not to mention he has all of the desert's sand at his disposal to block any Enton arrow, the distance being 75 meters ensures that Gaara will block it.

I can't conceive the image of current Gaara soloing current Sasuke in a desert...
OT: Sand Siblings win scenario 1 and 2. About the 3rd, although Sasuke can summon the Hawk, go aerial, avoid getting sinked and prepare to retaliate, he wouldn't go any further since Gaara isn't alone and at that point the rest of team Taka would be buried because the Hawk can't carry 4 people at once.

rain will wet up the sand making it slower & less durable also kirin destroys

water dosent affect his sand control. And scenario 3 is a desert,where little to no moisture is present so kirin is out of the question

thats he thing,heating up the air wont anything since there is no moisture there,so it wont work.

There are huge rocks mountains full of rock and minerals on either side of the valley,suigetsu gets beaten
