[Question] Rank the 8 original GMG teams

How would you rank the 8 original Dai Matou Enbu tems by overall strength (except replace Yukino with Minerva and Elfman with Wendy)

my list:

1. Fairy Tail B Team (Jellal, Laxus, Mira, Gajeel, Juvia) ... no competition really

2. Fairy Tail A Team (Natsu, Erza, Gray, Lucy, Wendy) and Lamia Scale (Jura, Lyon, Chelia, Yuka, Tobi (I think)) ... Wendy v Chelia (Chelia is somewhat stronger but ... well, manga ...), Lyon v Gray (imo Gray could stall him long enough), Lucy v Yuka & Tobi (Lucy would finish this quickly and help Wendy and Gray) ... but I think at the end it would all come down whether Natsu + Erza are able to Defeat Jura (or you could mix the matchups any which way ... I jsut went with the most obvious ... to me anyway)

4. Sabertooth (Minerva, Rogue, Stink, Rufus and Orga)

5. Mermaid Heel (Kagura, Milliana, the rest)

6. Blue Pegasus (Ichiya, Nichiya, Ren, Eve, Hibiki) though they might be able to beat mermaid ... Ichiya is a first class weirdo but he isn't exactly a pushover and the cat can distract Milliana lol

7. Raven Tail (Ivan, the Pudding guy, Kurohebi, Obra, Flare) ... were only successful because of cheating

8. Quatro Puppy ... they were a joke really, except Bacchus

ST in no 3 I just cant see XD Jura can probably solo the entire sabertooth and the only challenge would be minerva

True Jura probably could but at the same time Rufus could take out Chelia/YukiaToby with little difficulty, Orga can take on Lyon beating him mid-high difficulty and then you still have Sting/Rogue and Minerva vs Jura in which no offense but Sabortooth is no Raven tail period they are like Fairy Tail and I doubt Jura could solo Fairy Tail. In the end I doubt Jura could beat Rufus, Minerva, Orga, Sting and Rogue together because unlike Sting/Rouge and Orga Rufus and Minerva doesn't fight head on but spam attacks from distances.

Jura is strong but he can't take on all sabortooth members by himself Sabortooth as a whole>Laxus and Laxus beat Jura.

i agree with your list completely and i doubt that even Ichiya can beat Kagura tbh, but i wonder what magic does that farm girl (let's call her Ginny) from Mermaid Heel uses, i think i didn't see her do any magic in the whole Daimatou Enbu

Everyone is sabertooth (except minerva) in the gmg was very unimpressive when going against a strong opponent

I agree with your list. ST was really overrated. Given a full scale fight, Jura with support from Lyon and Cheria, they could take down ST with ease.

Look at it this way Sabortooth vs Lamia scale

Minerva/DF Rogue/DF Sting with POF vs Jura-- They won't beat him right off the bat but could hold him off until Rufus and Orga come along.

Rufus vs Yuka/Chelia/Toby-- He could finish them off with his fire spell or Star spell with then an instant. Chelia might try to heal but then Rufus just blows her away with Gray/Orga lightning ice attack.

Orga vs Lyon-- His attack that he used on the Magic power finder should be enough to drastically hurt Lyon seeing as he was tooking out by water/ice.

It comes down to Jura vs all of Sabortooth but he isn't strong enough to defeat them all. Jura was defeated by one of Laxus nukes his secret Dragon slayer attack so if Sting and Rogue in DF do a Unsion Raids, while Orga use his powerful lightning attack while Minerva nukes Jura he will be in a tight place especially seeing as Rufus can make him forget what ever Rock creation he uses to defend + while making Lava flow up from the ground under him then attacking him with one of his rock magics mixed with one of Minerva's or Orga's nukes sent flying back at him.


Jura vs Sabortooth will not be an easy one shot because he will be on the Defensive and offense during the whole fight. Rufus still has forget which can make him forget his rock shields like Rufus did to gray also if Jura tries to use his ultimate attack he used in the MPF than Minerva can teleport her team away while Rufus memorize the attack and use it against him. Only way Jura will solo them is if he gets into a fight with them hand to hand combat.

It isn't all about strength but also skill and the overall guild. True Lamia scale might have Jura who is stronger than Minerva but as a team Lamia scale doesn't compare to Sabotooth. Honestly if you look at it this way any member of sabortooh could solo 3/5 of Lamia scale with little difficulty and Minerva can solo 4/5 of Lamia scale with ease. Jura is strong but is he strong enough to make up for his other team downfalls?

It is the same with Mermaid heel, Raven Tail, Blue Pegasus and Quatra Puppy. Bacchus could solo 4/5 of Blue Pegasus, Raven Tail and Mermaid heel alone. Kagura could solo 4/5 Lamia scale alone with ease but the other members of Mermaid heel are fodder material and Kagura doesn't have the strength to make up for that.

You mention the same DF Sting and Rogue that got solo'd by base Natsu who didn't even use LFD? Haha. They get shitstomped by Jura negative difficulty. When Minerva isn't using devious tactics she's taken down as well. Jura defeated Orga with one punch. All that's left is... Rufus. HAHA. Yea, I'll leave it at that.

Sting and rogue got owned by natsu no dif ... Which equals one shot by Jura, he one shot Orga WITHOUT using magic ... Same goes for Rufus andand ofc than theres Orga

All thats left is Minerva

Jura doesnt use earth make magic, he just moves earth around Rufus cant make him forget that, if he could that would be the same as if he made Gray forget how to make ice, he just made him forget the shapes not how to use ice make magic itself

Juras Mount Fuji and its bye bye Sting, Rogue, Rufus and Orga ... Im pretty sure Mt Fuji>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>A Punch .... And Orga got one shot by a punch


Now if were talking the whole Lamia scale vs Sabertooth ... yuka and tobi are completely irrelevant wheres chelia if nothing else could heal but thats not importany, Lyon however is he TIED with Kagura wich means hes not that much weaker than Minerva or Erza, which means he should be around base Natsu level ... And we all know how well two of sabertooth did against base Natsu right ...

Jellal, Jura amd Laxus were just in different leagues than everyone else both Mavis and Makarov as well as Mira said so (at least about Jura and seeing as Jellal and Laxus are stronger ...)
