If you cant escape kamui with FTG, does that mean that, if he caught hjim off guard, obito could beat Goku?(Or basically e very DBZ character except super buu and gotenks(Untill proved otherwise which wont happen))
Space/time jutsu does not imply dimensional travel. Anything that involves S/T can be considered space time for example when obito uses this.S/T jutsu in itself implies multi-dimensional travel. How can you accept Obito can go through dimensions, but refute it when FTG is the same thing. It's a S/T jutsu. Kamui merely allows the user to linger in that dimensional void. FTG is an instant jutsu. That's the only difference.
Goku can escape kamui because instant transmission allows goku to travel through other dimensions where as FTG cannot. If you cant escape kamui with FTG, does that mean that, if he caught hjim off guard, obito could beat Goku?(Or basically e very DBZ character except super buu and gotenks(Untill proved otherwise which wont happen))
You rep by clicking the little star on the very bottom left side of my post.*_*they dont understand because they dont read..
how do i rep you? (sorry for being a noob lol)
Not even going to argue this point. FTG has its own dimension, as does every other s/t jutsu. If it can get out of their dimension, it can get out another dimension.Space/time jutsu does not imply dimensional travel. As you can see obito manipulated space time continuum to extend the range of his fire ball by distorting space. The fire itself did not come from another dimension. this concludes that not all space/time ninjutsu involve other dimensions.
What proof do you have that FTG has its own dimension. You are making arguments that have no proof to support them. Like I said it's just a theory but if you are going to disagree atleast bring evidence and not just assumptions. thanks. Not even going to argue this point. Wrong. Goku can only instant transmit to things that emit a Ki signature, enabling him to lock onto it. If he was in the narutoverse, he'd be the only one with Ki, therefore not being able to teleport.Goku can escape kamui because instant transmission allows goku to travel through other dimensions where as FTG cannot.
Nice response but minato could be simply using a wormhole to link two parts of space not necessarily going to a different dimensionWrong. As for your original post. It's 50/50 as you can argue both ways.
For example, when Minato uses FTG to teleport to one of his markings he has goes through another dimension and then reaches the marking. Now, to arrive at his marking, he'd still have to be able to detect it while temporarily in the "FTG dimension". So if he's able to detect his chakra source there, why wouldn't he be able to detect it while in the kamui dimension? you stated no manga fact about this, only assumption. Karin being unable to sense Obito is solely due to her and independent of how Minato links his chakra to FTG.
Edit: Before you say "where's your proof that there is a FTG dimension" for the sake of your argument. I'd say you don't need manga proof. It could be one of those things Kishi is yet to reveal, and even then, it's clearly explained via the technique. When he teleports, it's clearly obvious that he isn't in real dimension for that precise moment. Therefore, the only logical explanation would be he'd be in another dimension. Manga proof for this? All the occasions when he's used FTG. When teleporting the kyuubi's TBB. Where did it disappear for that split second before being redirected behind the village? another dimension ofcourse.
Cheers.Nice response but minato could be simply using a wormhole to link two parts of space not necessarily going to a different dimension

Glad you agree it's nice to debate with you guys + rep. that's why I like making threads=DCheers.
And yeah if he's using a wormhole then what you state is correct, he'd be unable to escape it. Genuinely hope kishi reveals the secrets of the technique now haha
no problem mateGlad you agree it's nice to debate with you guys + rep. that's why I like making threads=D
Because it has been stated all S/T jutsu have their own dimensional voids. :|What proof do you have that FTG has its own dimension. You are making arguments that have no proof to support them. Kakashi only said that the dimensions that he and obito use are connected. Then bee asked whether all S/T techniques are connected. then kakashi responded with a negetive. This does not provide proof that all S/T techniques require dimensions. Like I said before minato could simply be using a worm hole that connects two parts of space not necessarilyBecause it has been stated all S/T jutsu have their own dimensional voids. :|

Trying to apply theoretical physics to Naruto, when they can't even be applied to our own universe. Nice try though :|Kakashi only said that the dimensions that he and obito use are connected. Well its only a theory I guess we won't know until kishi reveals it.Trying to apply theoretical physics to Naruto, when they can't even be applied to our own universe. Nice try though :|
Actually it sort of does imply that s/t jitsu have they own dimension. Bee asked if two s/t users use the same tech would the dimension be connected. Which kakshi replies no only him and obito are connected, because of the eyes. The scan dosent show that. Can you bring a scan that shows that?Actually it sort of does imply that s/t jitsu have they own dimension.
