Sasuke slapped Naruto several times, attempting to wake him up. ?You dunce, hurry up? we?ve got to make it to the Wave Country by the end of today!? Sasuke growled. Naruto snored onward, oblivious to the world outside of his dreams. ?That?s it?? Sasuke murmured. He punched Naruto full on in the face. Naruto woke up with a start. ?Huh, are we under attack?? he asked thoughtlessly. ?No, we have to go to the Wave Country, now hurry up and start packing.? Sasuke said. Naruto grumbled, and made 5 clones to start packing things up. ?Urgh, I?m sooo hungry? Sasuke, give me something to eat!? Naruto complained. ?It?s your own fault you idiot? if you packed more stuff, we wouldn?t have slept on an empty stomach!? Sasuke snarled. Haku walked up to them and said ?You guys haven?t eaten recently?? Naruto?s stomach churned, and served as Haku?s answer. ?Well, once we get going, I?m sure we?ll find some berries, or something.? Haku suggested. All their belongings gathered, they started walking through the forest towards the Wave Country.
?Finally!? Naruto obnoxiously yelled. The rest of the team climbed over the hill, and took in the sights. The city was bustling with many peddlers lined up on the street, and restaurants cluttered the strip of the shopping district. ?Now it?s time for some real food!? Naruto grinned. Sasuke poked him and said ?We have to turn in the body first you idiot.? Naruto grumbled and carried the barrel containing Zabuza as they walked through the town. ?Where?s the drop-off place?? Naruto asked. Sasuke shrugged, and him and Naruto looked at Haku. Haku sighed, and shook his head. In the 2 days that he knew Naruto and Sasuke, they had started to grow on him. He also realized another thing? they had no sense of direction. ?Umm.. I pretty sure it?s this way.? Haku suggested. They turned down the street, and they arrived at this building with broken down windows, and gray peeling paint. Two old ladies came out of the house. ?Are you here for a drop-off?? One asked warily. They nodded. They beckoned them to come inside. As soon as they were in, the air reeked of blood, and dried out skin. ?Uhh, ladies what the heck are you doing in here? it smells digusting!? Naruto complained behind his shirt. ?It?s a place full of dead people, what do you expect?? Sasuke said. Naruto led down the barrel, and took off the top. Haku unfroze the water, and they took Zabuza out. ?We?ve come to collect the bounty for Zabuza Momochi.? Haku said. One lady examined the body, making sure it was the real deal. While they were waiting, the other lady took out a camera. ?I?m going to have to see your hunters license, so that I may record this as a legal bounty.? She croaked. ?We don?t have a license granny.? Naruto explained. The old lady sighed, and said ?That?s o.k? however I will need to take a picture of you all.? She took out a camera, and shot a photo of each of them. The lady inspecting the body finished and said ?Well, that?s that!? She took the body in the back, and put it into a bag. They waited a few minutes, and she came back with a sack full of beli. ?Here?s your reward.? She choked out. ?Let me carry the bag!? Naruto suggested. ?Knowing you, we?d be broke by the end of the day!? Sasuke argued. Sasuke gave each of them 100,000 Beli, and then he sealed the rest of the money inside several scrolls. The trio left and the headed back to the city. ?Let?s split up for a few hours? there?s something I need to check.? Sasuke said. Naruto nodded, and said?I?ll meet up later, it?s time to grub.? Haku grinned and said ?Let?s meet up here later, in about 5 hours.?
Haku went around the town looking for supplies they?d need. ?Hm, I?m no doctor, but we should at least have a first aid kit.? He said to himself. He bought one, and then hurried over to a store to buy some food. He bought some dumplings, some cup ramen, some squid, and rice. Hm, well I guess I?ll go and relax a bit over he there, he thought looking towards a bench. He sat down, and immediately, he felt very strange? the scenery was changing before his eyes. ?What?s going on him?? thought. Suddenly he heard a deep voice. ?Where is Naruto?? the voice asked. Haku looked all around, but couldn?t see anything. ?Who are you, and what do you want?? Haku asked. He continued to look around, but to no avail, he couldn?t see the attacker. Suddenly, he felt a hard fist on the nape of his back, and then he blacked out.
Naruto walked through the town, sampling everything he could. ?Mister, could I get 15 orders of sweet dumplings.? Naruto ordered. The man cooked them to order, and said ?That?ll be 1,000 Beli.? Naruto paid up, and went to the next shop up the street. ?A clothing store!? Naruto said excited. He walked in, and browsed around. He found some white cloaks that he liked, and bought 6. ?24,000 Beli please.? The clerk asked. Naruto reached into his frog shaped wallet, and was about to pay when he saw something that caught his eyes. ?Hey mister, how much is that dress?? The guy looked around at what Naruto was talking about, and said ?Oh, this? it?s 10,000 Beli.? ?I want it!? Naruto said. The man put the clothes in a bag, and asked ?Who?s it for, your girlfriend?? Naruto looked up, and replied ?Nah, this person I know looks like an Okama? I?m going to see whether they pick the robe, or the dress.? Naruto smiled. The clerk made a funny face, and Naruto left the store. He saw a stand full of magazines, and walked over towards them. ?Hey, it looks like that book Sasuke had.? Naruto said to himself. He picked it up, and saw that it was more up to date. ?Hm, how much sir?? Naruto asked. ?5,000 Beli.? Naruto paid up, and was whining about the price when he bumped into someone. He fell down, and all his clothes fell out of their bags. He looked up, and what he saw stunned him. ?Sasuke??
"It can't be helped... they're too powerful, and pretty soon the Shichinobi won't be able to deal with them either." A man in a red and black robe said. "Send out the order that all Devil Fruit hunter's must have their hunters license revoked." He continued. "And then they must be terminated."
