Naruto
Sasuke (those two make an epic team)
Kakuzu (his wide elemental variety would be awesome backup, plus he would be good as a testing dummy lol, I know that sounds bad, but he could take three fatal blows for Naruto or Sasuke before he dies, both of them are known for having to take a bunch of hits before they come with a big blow)
Um... hm... I'm not sure who would be a good 4th person. Maybe... some med ninja. Or Hidan (same as Kakuzu, he can take all of the hits actually while the others do something behind the scenes)
Or maybe Shikamaru for the fourth person (that team is full of attackers, not really thinkers, they need some brains)
Shikamaru- Master strategist.
Naruto- Main char powers FTW
Pain- Rinnegan is all powerful. (also when he comes back to life he would be good.)
Jiraiya- Senior leadership, sensei to two of the other three, insanely powerful.
Bad Guy Team
Madara- Hes just Madara.
Orochimaru- Ridiculous at everything.
Kisame- Loyal to Madara, very strong, most chakra out of anyone in series.
Kabuto- Medical ninja, loyal to Orochimaru, very intelligent.
Shikamaru- Master strategist.

As for my team...
Naruto Uzumaki (Main character powers lmao) Minato Namikaze (Father-Son epicness... and we all know he is strong.) Hiruzen Sarutobi in his prime(The third in my opinion is one of the most powerful shinobi in the series.) Hashimara Senju (controling Bijuu like pets is kinda like cheating... he could also help naruto control his power...)

Others who didnt quite make the cut:
Shikamaru... the combination of the 1st, 3rd, and 4th hokages kinda overrides his brilliance...
Tsunade... strongest medical nin... but lacking in strength...
Kakashi... simple couldnt place him... he was my next choice...
Kakashi's father... the white fang is a legend... almost as famous as yellow flash... but we dont know enough about him...
Iruka (leader and teh coolzorz!)
Konohamaru (Hes better than naruto...)
Ten-ten (incredible asset to any team...)
Ino (Best Medical Ninja in Konoha)
Best Enemy team...
Mizuki (first enemy of the series... Super powerful with his giant shuriken)
Haku (transexuals are scary)
Meizu (Brother of Gouzu with his scary super gauntlets...)
Gouzu (Brother of Meizu and a super powerful awesome Chuunin)
Similar to mine but I'd take out Naruto and replace him with Itachi. 1 sage fighter is enough.
Itachi - Used to blitz opponents. Since he has the lowest chakra of this team he uses Tsukuyomi straight away and only few can get away from that. Extremely quick with Amaterasu and Susanoo used if pushed harder which is more then enough to overwhelm opponents.
Jiraiya - Used as a brawler. I chose Jiraiya instead of Naruto because Jiraiya has a longer time limit using sage mode. Not to mention that Jiraiya has more variety of attacks then Naruto and better AOE attacks such as Swamp of the underworld and Big Flame bullet. Also Ma and Pa come with him and Ma's technique to find hidden opponents would come very handy with Frog Sage being the best AOE technique here.
Hashirama Senju - Used to negate tailed beasts or Jinchūriki. A much stronger version of Yamato that was able to beat a EMS madara in his prime making him an exceptional opponent. Because of his Wood Release technique he has both great ranged attacks and defence.
Pein - Used to block opponents. It's kind of unfair to include Pein since he is 6 people but it's still a jutsu used by Nagato. Has 6 pair of eyes to cover more angles for the team. Preta path and Deva path negate any jutsu coming towards them with the ablility to suck and disperse chakra. Bansho Tenin is great to disrupting the other teams formation. Human path ability to suck out souls without costing the users life is used to combar Edo Tensei or do 1hit KO on opponents with special defenses. But the best defence is Naraka path's technique to revive fallen members of 'all' the team so no matter happens they're going to keep coming back at you.
