If Shikamaru going to become hokage (we all know that not going to happen) he will be the weakest of hokages! Because he not even fighting he just sitting and thinking!!! Shikamaru is not even in the hokage league!!!!:dead:

To everyone who says this is a bad chapter or couldn't follow it. This is chapter 641, if you can't follow after reading that much manga(and I assume you read others), might I recommend reading something else. This chapter was great for a number of reasons.
1) Shikamaru would be a great hokage, and naruto would be a kakashi-esque person - unlikely seeing as it is naruto's story.
2) Naruto and Sasuke are working well together and having fun challenging each other just like the tree climbing contest they had before the haku/zabuza fight.
3) keeping the SA involved in any way is good for the story. Plus, it makes for emotional panels.
4) Tobirama is a badass. I love that hiraishin is copied from him and can't wait for that to be put into ultimate ninja, cause to be honest, his suiton is weak

I know I can't be the only one annoyed with all this OP $hit. The originality is all gone and it's a DBZ clone now. I miss the older days.
Tobirama was great and everything, but I was more interested in what the 'FODDERS' (stupid ass word!) were doing than the rest of this chapter's bull$hit.
Also, why is Minato all on Sasuke's d1ck?

Did nt understand the end part at all......!!! wat i noticed is dat sakura cared more about naruto at the end than sasuke....!!! cos she called his name 1st before sasuke's....!!!!

regardless of our limitations, we can always be of some use.

I think kishi, has forgotten, what a character minato is, that he is making minato who was said to be sharp and a genius, look like a fool, because he has no shortcomings. How can minato of all people, wouℓd not b able to complete a single justu, and make mistakes for the third time, to even think he would he make a mistake in the first place is preposterous, he is not just learning this justu.
I think kishi is just trolling and giving kushina and naruto's beviour to minato.
OT: to those saying: where is naruto speed, he still has his speed but not the speed he used to dodge raikages' punch, he did that because he was in a pinch, but minato will teach him later
OT: to those saying: how fast is minato without his justu, minato who was far away from obito and baby naruto, when obito toss baby naruto up, minato got there very fast b4 obito did, that to show u the speed minato has without his justu.
Raikage isn't fast without. Lighting added to his body to agument his speed.
OT: is jubiobito faster than minato now that he has sage of 6paths power no. I wonder how fast minato will be if he got sage of 6 paths power?

Naruto and Sasuke are the ultimate combo! Tobirama has proven himself as a Hokage. And Minato needs to grow his arm back already. The other edo tensei's had a way faster regen rate. But overall 5/5 Sasuke is so cool :x3:

I disagree with that "one flaw." It is understandable that Gaara's sister would say that Shikamaru is a good candidate for Hokage, because she already respects him. I agree with that. And also, other ppl believe that Kishi is hinting that Shikamaru could be the next Hokage, but I believe that it misses his point. I believe the point of that panel is to show a quality of leadership, in this case, the ability to 'change people's heart,' and emphasize that now as a quality in which Hokages have; something in which the series alluded it since the beginning. If you think about it, changing ppl's heart is a quality that Naruto has had since part one. In part two, to name a few examples, Naruto demonstrated it after he defeated Pain; Gaara's motivational speech before the Ninja Alliance went to war; the First Hokage (with Madara's help) exemplified it when he/they created the 1st ninja village system. And now, Shikamaru's motivating the alliance to focus for an opening at the right time rather than simply just being there. Motivating others is can also be considered a change of heart. At the very least it is part of being a great leader.
In response to the bold part: It IS character development, for Shikamaru, because it shows his growth in leadership since he first became a chuunin. A worthy enough improvement to be on par of that of a Hokages, as fanlady pointed out. Character development doesn't have to be just on learning a new jutsu, or being less of an emo (Sakura fans rejoice!)
I know I'm digressing, but, I read once in a poster that "Leadership is the capacity to make a vision into reality"
If anything else, that panel makes Naruto's case for Hokage even stronger because he's changed many peoples heart and motivated a whole allegiance of Ninjas to not give up on the war.
In short, that panel was meant to have the affect of "aaahhh! I see now. Clever Kishi, clever!" through the allusion that its really about Naruto's leadership qualities for Hokage, than the obvious hinting that Shikamaru could be the next Hokage. Think about it. and feel free to disagree with me.

It's not a DBZ clone at all.
While the powers are getting a bit out of hand, there's one huge difference between Naruto and DBZ. Teamwork, on DBZ every battle was basically a duel. The only type of teamwork was fusions, and that doesn't really count since it's technically still 1v1 fights. Naruto has true teamwork, and this chapter exemplifies that fact. Any manga that runs for a long time is bound to have it's characters get over powered. There are a few exceptions though like Detective Conan.
Well keep in mind that none of the Hokage were revived at full power, it's even worse for the 3rd because he's still in his weakened state to begin with. If he was revived in his prime, I suspect he would be playing a more active role. Still, it's obvious he was the weakest Hokage, though he was a master at Talk-No-Jutsu!

IT wasnt much interesting as per my expectation.again using same attack that didnt work on jubii.now he is jubis jinchuri who destroyed or neutralized hashiramas jutsu , surely wont work on him.
and his amaterus wont work on obito as we know when sasuke killed itachi while explaining him regarding itachi true image, he opened his mask and got struck by amaterus.But nothing happened at all jsut short pain in his asss , ithink he suck it to other dimension.so this time he will nearly do same thing in next chapter.
or use one of the sage rare techinque.
yeah probably if he captured kuybii, and become its jinchuris with his Ems , hashirama cell and rinnegan , he will like sage and nearly strong as imperfect jubii;s jubito.
he seems to fight with hashi because he want to prove that he is as or more strong than hashiramas.
