Are you disappointed that Minato has no original jutsu?

Personally I'm. All that hype that Minato is one of kind, "previous child of prophecy", prodigy, etc... and for what?

Rasengan- copied from TBB
Fuinjutsu- copied from the Uzumaki clan(Kushina taught him everything she can)
The almighty FTG- copied from the Second
Yin Kuuybi- alike with Naruto


There's no any originality in Minato besides these ridiculous names of his FTG, what a disappointment. U_U

I don't really care. There's nothing wrong with basing your techniques on something already there but adding your own twist. Besides people from clans or those who have their special bloodlines most people use jutsu that already exist.

basing something off of something else doesnt mean it was copied. tobirama came up with the concept of manipulating space and time. but minato developed it to its ultimate conclusion, with his barriers and kunai fighting style.
also having nothing original doesnt mean your stupid or unskilled. it means you paid good attention to what your sensei is saying. look at sakura and 4th raikage. look at kabuto, look at jiraiya. look at sasuke.
at least this means sakura isnt bad for having nothing original because at it turns out, neither does another highly skilled fighter.

The fact that he was able to base techniques of others is pretty impressive. Hey I'm no jinchuriki but an attack like that seems pretty handy, I'll just invent one myself. Not only that but he was able to improve on them so.. I don't see the problem.

at this point yea i'm a little down coz the recent manga showed that even tobirama's ftg required seal and that even this ftg is of the same speed ( might be slower i am not getting to any conclusions ) they r almost the same

Also, he created the rasengan purposefully for future development by his son (Naruto's rasen-shuriken) and I wouldn't be surprised if his S/T jutsu could be enhanced by Naruto

All what disappoints me a little is the fact Kishi gave the exact same space-time jutsu to Tobirama out of nowhere. We already knew he had a space-time technique since a while, but i couldn't have imagined it was exactly the same or almost(the seals are different though), but besides that i don't really care if he copied other techniques or not

Kinda, but it doesn't bother me too much.
Naruto and Sasuke both use jutsu that they learned/copied, but merely adapt them to their own needs. There's plenty of other characters that haven't used any techniques they created for themselves.

As nice as it would be for Minato to show something new, it's not essential. His skill comes from using the techniques he learned effectively, and sometimes better than their original creators could.

I Am mad that tobirama has been given the FTG. I just wish kishi had been more creative. This takes away from minato's character.
However Rasengan is his, who cares if he copied it from the tailed beast, no other ninja has done it before.
