This just shows that Obito can still be TnJ. If he is still thinking of his team there is still hope of stopping him with words. But like every villain that has come in Naruto none has been purely evil they just have selfish goals.
very nice work i grasp lot more now about obito.. i think minato represent different things than reflects, before his "trasformation" minato was rolemodel shaping obito, making his own ideology to obito..
he refuses all minato is, first thing he said after changing appearance

WHAT obito said above cant be translated to english properly
Kirin rei atleast theorised that obito refers to kakashi with "fellow of the traitor" and said it to minato or sasuke probably to both
that means sasuke's changing sides dont mean anything to him, he do such things regular basis.. this means his right side "kakashi" mean lot to him on some wierd way..
Naruto feels rage? Also why did you use Kabuto and Orochimu for Naruto? Wouldnt Sakura and Kakashi make better examples? Great thread man but its the subtle things you did that confuse me @__@

What I meant was that Naruto, like Obito, is driven by his emotions. Presumably love and respect for his friends, while Obito feels rage and hatred.
Then I mentioned some villains and what is most important to them, like identity, for Kabuto, opponents to defeat for Sasuke, and the mind and knowledge for Orochimaru.
So a large part of what made this newest chapter interesting to me was that it actually provided a new way to analyze Naruto-characters, and indeed characters in general:
What parts of their identity is the WEAKEST, and what are the strongest?
Self, others/goals, heart or mind were the categories I interpreted this chapter to be about.
As this was Kishimoto's way of showing what matters to his most important antagonist, I figured it would hold true for ANY character in Naruto, though I haven't analyzed any but the most obvious villains.
