Notice how Naruto shows kindness by being concerned for Hiruzen. Minato's response to him right there is:
'It only works on something either or my chakra are touching in some way'

Sasuke admonishes him like an idiot. Telling him to stop whining.

Later on:

Sasuke got his ass saved and would have been murdered on the spot. And it was all thanks to Naruto's kindness that he found out about how Minato's jutsu works, thus saving his unworthy life:

If Naruto had'nt spoken out in kindness at that point in the first scan, he would never have known how minato's ftg works since minato would'nt have told him like he did and thus he would'nt have been able to save Sasuke the way he did.

P.S: We all saw what happened with hashi and tobirama. Sasuke would've been cut to pieces as well, and no susanoo is'nt stopping a jubbi powered hit plus a jubbi tbb(the black stuff passing through obito's hands).
