Is it possible if we can close our own thread ourself?Altho its not really important but sometimes when things get outta hand the only option is to close it.This also can reduce the work for mods ^^'..(altho it still depends on the thread starter weather if he/she decided to close it...)hmmm not sure about it tho,ive got mixed up thought about this xD Anyway...Tell me what you think?Oh and how bout a 'thanks' button for poster?I think its useful for example like "heres a fanmanga i draw,credit goes to xxx for the fanfic script"and when he posted in the thread he/she can share the credit together.And again ive mixed up feeling bout this(since people can missused this option,but i dont really see people missuse with 'add rep')people will start 'thanking' more when it is much more visible.(or maybe 'allow thanks!' to the poster to enable it,only thread starter can do it tho)

the thank button on every post? if thats what you mean then no

people will misuse that.... so no way is it gonna work

i didnt get the last part but maybe the closing part.

i dont really know about the closing though, theres alot of things that could go wrong that people dont know about.

sorry i cant explain well,What im trying to say is "you hv Thanks! button in every post,somewhere between quote and multi quote or anywhere near it"

Hm, about your first suggestion (closing threads) I am afraid that isn't possible since the permissions on the system are set for only the mods & admins group to do that. I wouldn't mind it if you had this power, but still when a thread needs to be closed there is a reason for it and mods have to usually give warnings and infractions when this happens to make sure everyone is following the forum rules. So even if you close it, we still have to go there ;)

About the thanks button, it has happened before as a surprise from V for 24 hours and most people not only abused it, they stretched it so much that threads were created asking V to restore the original rep points. It's a dead end if that happens, the rep system gets completely destroyed. It's not up to me, but to that one if i am asked i will say "No", sorry.
