How is Obito able to control the Juubi so easily?! Such a slap in the face to all the shinobi who died trying to be Jinchuriki of even 1 tailed beast. Not to mention gaining so much control of the Juubi immediately after sealing.

Even Minato (no fodder) could only seal 1/2 of Kurama's chakra, and needed to use DRS to accomplish this. Somewhere there is a disconnect.

Obito did the Rikudo seal on the Juubi thus was able to contain the beast but, somehow the cage was not there in Obito's inner self, the place seemed pitch dark, with the juubi's mokuton containing Obito.

I also believe having the sharingan/rinnegan and senju dna strengthen rikudo's seal but again there is no red cage

You say it like if Obito was still a child with a weak will. Uchiha possess such extreme emotions, and when it comes to their lost loved ones some of them who go to the point where they awaken the Mangekyo are capable of extreme bursts of will or rage when the ones they lost are in focus.

Obito's various Kekke Genkai present in his body also help quite a bit I suppose, but his will in itself was extraordinary enough to force the Juubi back and counterattack seemingly snatching more control from it.

Actually, it makes sense. The Ten-Tails has no mind. Obito was simply overwhelmed by the sheer scale of it's power. Minato's presence sparked his memories of his former team and Rin, and that allowed him to regain control of himself.

Also, Minato could have sealed the Nine-Tails in it's entirety within Naruto. He had the chakra and the skill to do it, he simply chose not to. According to him, he would have been a horrible father without Kushina so he decided to die halving the Nine-Tails' power so that Naruto had a chance at controlling it. Dumb as hell, yes, but that's Kishi's writing for you.

Obito has senju DNA, rinnegan, sharingan. but he has his buff. Rin memories. Obito is able to control or overwhelm anything if he thinks about rin. Those feeling obito has for Rin are more OP than senju DNA. Besides, the bijuus had a mind, the current juubi barely had one. it was just massive chakra with a destruction intention.

He has senju DNA, Uchiha DNA, rinnegan etc... he did years of research and training for this sole prupose and still the juubi almost took over his body. It was his determination to bring rin back that ultimately made his conscious over come the juubi's.

And yes I get the Senju/Uchiha DNA... I just feel its been used as an easy explanation for too much.

Well that's because the Kyuubi and Hachibi have consciences, so they aren't as rash as the Juubi is which is why it needs on the go control.
