I don't know why people hate Sakura. I guess trolls just need something to troll about -_-. Back to business. I think Sakura has a very special role to play. I mean she is the main girl of Naruto so ofcourse her role is the main character's girl friend. The main character in the anime are never a real couple but when the girl says something that comes from the heart, you can always expect a change i the main character's actions. She is't the only one who empowers the main character but when the time comes and she needs him he's always there. Plus people say her new jutsu is an escuse for her uselessness, but it's not. Let's take a walk down memory shall we trolls. Tsunade was USELESS before naruto came. She was afraid of blood, a drunkee, and a gambler. In the battle of the sannin she was pretty much useless until the end where she used her ultimate healing jutsu. She had been ppretty useless for years, but paid her does whe she gave it her all to kill Oro. Sakura is healing the entire alliance by herself and even has tsunades jutsu (which she was storing chakra up for 3 years). Not to mention she's a hellafied Medical ninja. So give credit where credit is due.

I don't hate Sakura. I just think she has not done enough to justify her being a main character. The main problem is must of what she does is off-screen.

I think the argument isn't that she is useless or doesn't matter... it is more like why does kishi make her feel unimportant. I don't know about you guys but I always feel like her character can be removed from the manga entirely and you wouldn't feel a thing. That stinks because we thought (or I did) coming into the new shippuudden (sp?) that she was going to blossom and be used well after she defeated Sasori. I love her character and I wish she had more face time. It isn't about what she can or can't do in a particular scenario. I mean it is obvious Obito would crush her face in a second but I mean... at least her face got to be crushed?

The question isn't "why Kishi makes her unimportant," it's why Kishi even treats her as a main character at all.
Kishimoto doesn't like women, it's clear as day. It was wasted effort trying to make a heroine when he can't keep up to it.
It ain't very difficult to prove Kishi is a sexist though, I thought it was generally accepted...
Only 2 guys 1 girl groups,
No female Uchihas,
No female Senju,
Not a single female in top 10,
Not a single female who is "legendary" for some reason,
They all cry too much and develop around male characters.
Only Tsunade seems to differ as she is a leader/sannin, that's why I respect that character.
Hm? o.o Well then. :I I respect Sakura. I haven't really hated on her. If anything, she should get some more screen time to prove herself but she is more medical ninja so why expect her to be keeping up with crack head Naruto and Sasuke? She does enough. Actually, she has done more then TenTen and Ino. Hinata has not given me proof of her being able to beat her either.Best be happy Kishi didn't go and pull a ChiChi thing when she barely show up at all. <.<
