So that databook scan explaining the mechanics of the Yata Mirror is hyperbole too?
OT: Probably no, but he has other ways of dealing with the Yata Mirror.
The databook has made mistakes before.

Yata mirror prepares the final blow.
1st mirror
2nd Totsuka GG
Kamui can be cancelled by kamui, yata's hype states that it can change every one of its properties in order to defend against any attack. Yata will cancel kamui by changing its properties into something that can cancel kamui.

It's the same technique. Doesn't actually count.
Either way, it's not "indefensible". Nor is the Yata Mirror capable of stopping every technique. It's pure hyperbole.
The databook says Kakashi's kamui can not be defended. Yes. It's hyperbole.
Only because its outdated & new manga developments contradict some statements.
There is nothing contradicting yata's hype & there is no reason for kishi to recant such a statement because he has no reason to (Itachi is dead).
That databook statement is the only reliable source of info that we have on yata mirror, so why are you questioning it?
Databook never explained its mechanics and why it can't be defended. Yata Mirror's mechanics were explained, without any exaggerations and etc. Correct me if I'm wrong but has Kamui ever been defended from? It's the same technique. Doesn't actually count.

Until I see something contradicting the yata mirrors detailed translation I'm not buying it. So far it has lived up to it's hype.
Every Jutsu has a weakness. Yata Mirror isn't a jutsu, its a spiritual weapon. And it has a weakness, Yata Mirror just changes its attributes to repel an incoming attack, two attacks fired at the same time with different elements should bypass the mirror, and the Mirror also doesn't protect from underground attacks.Itachi himself stated everything has a weakness, didn't he?

Of course he can. Saying he can't is like saying Itachi can beat Jubito which is fanboyism.Yata mirror was one of the sacred tools of the sage and this is manga fact. Jubito is on the same level as the sage as Madara stated. Unless you're trying to say the tool is more superior to it's creator, you are a moron. :yeah:
