Options don't count against evidence. For a side character Kishi is speeding more time and effort on Hinata and Her connection to Naruto to be mere coincidence. Naruto is the main character all others are support including Sakura and support personnel are subject change by Kishi as He is developing the Manga and leading it were He want it to go. Just like any other novel, movie or tv show support characters come and go. Take Neji He died,His only role in the manga now is flashbacks,the same for Jiraiya and other characters that at some point Kishi decided to end their active role in the Manga. It's all parted of story telling.

You know, people keep saying: "Hinata is a side character."

"She's gotten enough attention."

That's fine, and all... but it kind of misses the entire point - which is that she's a "side character" who shares an integral design with that of Naruto's and is intended to be his shadow.

This is no more evident than in:

A common reference to Yin and Yang is that Yang is the Sun while Yin is the shadow on the hills. The two, together, create a defined world as Yin shifts to Yang and Yang shifts to Yin. While Naruto, himself, embodies Yang - Hinata embodies Yin. Hinata's name is "A Sunny Place" or can also be interpreted to mean "Toward the Sun."

The Yin/Yang theming between the two is nuts as the two go so far as to transfer expressions of their character back and forth between each other during their moments of strong interaction (which is how Yin and Yang operate - nothing is ever 'stable' - it's always in flux with Yang flowing to Yin and Yin flowing to Yang).

Then you compound that with what's happened through the series, and it's obvious that there's a link, and that it's quite predictable once you know what to look for.

Lol, I forgot that these series were called Hinata. NOT! The ones that are going to get all spotlight is Sasuke and Naruto, there is no Hinata, her role is to become capable heiress. Hyuuga arc ended in this war already, so no more Hinata.:vincent:

Hinata is to the Shinobi Alliance as Naruto is to his small group of comrades.

Now that HQ has been leveled - Hinata's Byakugan, with it's unrivaled 10 kilometer minimum established field of view, is pretty much going to become the backbone of Alliance C3 and Early Warning.

They share the same destiny, after all. It only makes sense.

Unless He is showing that Naruto and Hinata's life are intertwine with each other. Sines they together represent The Yin and Yang of a relationship in perfect harmony a recurring Oriental them in Oriental literature.

I know that and my whole point was you made it seem like it was fact since you argued what I said. I don't mind your opinion and if you believe in them.. I was just saying you were saying it as if it was going to actually happen in the story which is why I said don't come to conclusions that's all but yeah I'm satisfied.

I always look forward to your post. Although a bit confusing due to the large amount of manga scans I think I get your overall point. I think the biggest factor I'm counting on for a Hinata moment is that fact that she said she would go "all the way with the Hakke 64 fist." This isn't something she thought (which considering her track records for her thoughts coming true wouldn't be a bad thing) but rather something she says. We all know their Nindo and the significance there within. Therefore, it's either going to be an awesome moment...or Kishi is trolling us with a move he is never going to show. But considering that Hinata is one of Kishi's first character designed for Naruto I'm hoping for the first choice. Nothing says you're strong like helping defeat the 'big bad'.

The only thing I could add to your post would be the scene where Jiraiya dies in the water and Naruto jumps out of the water during the hunt for Sasuke ark (which of course they meet Tobi in) Not sure how important that scene is but I feel like it is. I believe that is also the only Naruto-Hinata scene that has yet to be mirrored.
