wow itachi is dead and all naruto has to do is go all out sage mode with a little of the fox chakra sealing out and hes dead pain is stronger than itachi so that means and naruto defeated him so there u have it

dude who can counter the Totsuka Sword....i mean kishi upgraded him way to much and the only reason he died was cause of choice and a sickness....and i do think pain could beat itachi.... honestly... itachi couldnt get his genjustu to work on him .... and pein is just to much definitely if you dont know his secret...

Itachi Would Most Likey Figured It Out And I Agree With You Itachi Is Too Strong Unbelievably Strong I Was Sayin That In My Head The Whole Time But I Think He Can Beat Pein Because Of Amaterasu Would Of Burnt 5/6 Peins The One That Absorb Chakra Would Have Been The Only One Left And Itachi Would Of Knocked The Charka Bars Right Out His Face

most likely cuz hes gonna be the last bad guy

and noone can really say that itachi is stronger than madara
BUT its a possibility

but in my opinion we do not really know the extent of his power yet
and the fact that he lsot to the 1st isnt a valid arguement cuz he must have gotten a lot stronger over all those years.

and we also do not know all the powers of ems which has to be more powerful than itachis

Rikudou Sennin. A powered up version of Nagato (who admitted inferiority) and I presume wasn't handicapped. The first ninja and definitely someone mysterious. I also have to say that Shodaime must have been a beast back in the day. Not only did he beat a prime Madara with EMS but he also controlled several tailed beasts.
