Although, I read your arguments, I'll stick to Sir Derp's theory because I do believe that he had a wide variety of arguments which were good. I'm not going to go with arguments because I lack the necessary knowledge to counter yours, since I don't know a lot about Buddism and all these religions. That said, Sir Derp Obito's theories remain as theories in my eyes. They seem to have a good list of relationships between the manga and religious symbolisms and rituals, but these "relationships" are not facts.

It's people's fault for believe that these theories are a truth, so alternatives theories that "may" also be true are discarded just because there is one that "seems to have more relationships with symbols".

Of course, I'm not against Sir Derp Obito's way to make theories. He makes his researches and his theories are very plausible, and even logical. The real problem here is that people is not opened to look further the tree... there is a forest too.

Uzumaki are related to both Senju and Uchiha,the difference is the Uzumaki were on friendly terms with the Senju,logic dictates that if you are friendly with one kin you are going to be unfriendly with the other sines the Senju and Uchiha were at war with each other.The same way if you are at war with your brother but your cousin is on good terms with you,your brother may ended up being on bad terms with His cousin for taking His brother side. The SO6P had two sons who's descendants started to call themselves Uchiha and Senju to distinguish themselves from their father Family Name The Uzumaki and theirs nothing to say the SO6P did not have brothers and sisters who were Uzumaki and after the Sages death they carry on the family Name.
