he was impressed by the teamwork of the 5 fodders. thats why. Madara is a shinobi who accepts others qualities. he is a type of person who appreciates even his enemies abilities. he is like kakashi in this aspect.

First of all he needs to summon his bird to refrain from her punches.He will be most likely immobilized,when she create a giant crater:

Deidara takes this; it is a badmatchup. To be able to compete with Deidara's attacks; someone needs things like high level lightning attacks, high level defenses, high level speed...Tsunade does not have any of them.
