This Whole, Strongest Sannin Business

I wonder how anyone knowing that Itachi is stronger than Orochimaru, can say that Orochimaru is the strongest sannin. I would say that Jiriya is the strongest because it is believed that he can fight on par with Itachi. I don't want people to think that this is A<B<C because no one i'm mentioning has defeated any other. Im saying that there is a certain level of battle that Orochimaru is not on. I can say that he has some amazing jutsu but one on one, he isn't the strongest.

Let me get this right, Orochimaru and Jiraiya are stronger than Tsunade in base when Tsunade can killed them both with one punch, yet neither of them have a jutsu that can killed Tsunade instantly in their base.Is that what you are saying?

I believe Orochimaru has always been stronger.

For one he was the first to be a candidate as hokage. He was also known as a genius while the other two weren't, well tsunade was i believe, but in medical prowess.

Then even after Jiraiya learned Sage mode before meeting Nagato, he couldn't stop Orocgimaru from leaving the village.

Then there's when the three sannin met and Orochimaru says that even without arms there was a gap between Jiraiya and himself, or something like that.

Orochimaru as of now, even without Edo Tensei, is the strongest, due to possessing Hashirama's cells. Sage Mode Jiraiya wouldn't beat this Orochimaru who's pumped up on the juice and just got his arms back. No way.
