Chapter 34- Cherry Blossom Soul
Lara: Well, well. Kuchiki Byakuya. What an honor.
Byakuya: U_U *looks at Lara* Are you the one who did this *points at Rukia* to her?
Lara: Yeah, it was me O_O What?s it to you?
Byakuya: You have damaged my pride?and so you will be killed.
Lara: Please, you barely lasted against me last time.
Byakuya: And there?s a reason. Royal Guard members are prohibited from leaving the King?s Realm unless on a mission. When sent on a mission that does not revolve around dealing with the Menos, such as a mission in Rukongai or the world of the living, we must wear a Limit Seal of equal proportion to the ones captains and lieutenants in the Gotei 13 wear when they go to the Real World. But by order of the King himself, our Seal was lifted. The person you fought before?didn?t even exist in me.
Lara: O_O Hmph?well, that doesn?t matter now. Bakudo #63: Sajo Sabaku
Just as the spiritual chains of energy were coming at Byakuya to bind his arms, he pointed his hand out.
Byakuya: Kido Break. U_U
The spiritual chains suddenly shattered and fell to the ground where they would dissipate into the air.
Lara: o_o Such a powerful kido break?I?m impressed.
Byakuya charged at Lara with graceful speed and he swung his sword at her, but Lara blocked his attack. He turned around and brought his arm around to try to elbow Lara in the face, so Lara blocked with her other hand.
Byakuya: You let your guard down.
Byakuya pushed Lara back easily and then charged at her again, this time with a more powerful slash which broke Lara?s grip on her sword. Byakuya swung his zanpakuto again at Lara?s neck and suddenly, Lara?s hand grabbed his sword. Blood rushed down her hand and she smirked. Lara made her sword appear in her other hand and she swung it at Byakuya with a horizontal slash, cutting Byakuya?s torso. Blood spewed out and Byakuya stumbled backward.
Byakuya: *pant* *pant* Scatter, Senbonzakura.
Byakuya?s blade glowed pink and then separated into a thousand tiny little blades that reflected light to look like cherry blossoms. The blossoms flew at Lara and surrounded her in a short-ranged array. Lara gave a confused look to Byakuya and suddenly the cherry blossom blades closed in on her, but Lara tried to deflect them all with her zanpakuto. She was able to reduce some of the damage but was still sliced up several times in several places.
Lara: Now that?s more like it. Paint the perfect scene, Gakou!
Lara?s zanpakuto?s blade changed into a grey blade that looked extremely sturdy, but when she moved it around, it began to shake as if it were made of a liquid substance like paint.
Lara: Now?*draws a circle with zanpakuto*
When Lara made the circular motion with her zanpakuto, a circle of pain actually formed in the air where she had drawn the circle. She drew several kanji symbols and the circle began to glow grey.
Lara: Bakudo #58: Kakujitsuijaku!
Byakuya:
Why would you use that spell in battle?
Lara: *smirks* You?ll see!
Byakuya made the senbonzakura blossoms spiral and then fly towards Lara from her blindspot. Lara kept her eye on the circle and suddenly dodged each flower petal without looking. Lara charged at Byakuya but suddenly, the flower petals were coming at her from behind. Lara got extremely close to Byakuya and flash stepped away, avoiding the flower petal blades and causing them to come at Byakuya. Byakuya made the blades stop just an inch short of his face. He was extremely surprised and confused as to why Lara was able to avoid the blades and still attack at the same time. Byakuya looked over at the circle and noticed it was tracking the senbonzakura petals.
Byakuya: So that?s how?then?I?ll change my attack style to something more?versatile.
Byakuya controlled the flower petals to split up into ten groups of a hundred blades that attacked Lara from ten different directions. Lara drew ten squares with the paint of her sword in front of the ten 100 groups of the senbonzakura flowers and the squares suddenly became shields that blocked the petals.

Rei clashed swords with Roku again and she struggled. She was about to perform a binding spell when Komamura appeared behind her, prepared to punch her down to the ground. Rei?s eyes widened when she sensed his presence, and Komamura punched immediately, but suddenly his attack was blocked by a silver katana with a black hilt and pure black tassel attached to the end of it.
Komamura: O_O Kenshin?! Move!
Kenshin: Sorry?Rei, Roku, I?ll leave you two to continue your fight. Komamura, you and I are going to fight to the death.
Komamura: Is that so? What a pity! *flash steps away and begins unsheathing zanpakuto* You are about to experience true pain?ROAR! Tenken!
Komamura suddenly drew his sword out quickly and pointed it straight at Kenshin. When he did, a giant sword-weilding hand appeared behind Komamura and pointed at Kenshin as well. Komamura swung his sword downward and the giant hand did the same. Kenshin tried to block the attack with his zanpakuto, but the force of Komamura?s attack was so overwhelmingly powerful that it sent Kenshin plummeting into the ground at least 200 feet below, causing him to land with a huge crash! The smoke, dust, and debris finally cleared and Kenshin was holding his zanpakuto awkwardly. It glowed dark purple.
Kenshin: It?s been a while?but what the hell, I?ll go for it. Devour His Soul?Umbra!
Kenshin?s zanpakuto glowed dark purple and his spiritual pressure grew enormous. Umbra turned into a pure black one-handed longsword with a purple aura surrounding the sword. Kenshin swung Umbra at Komamura and a dark purple blast of reiatsu burst at Komamura. Komamura blocked the blast with his sword by calling forth the giant sword of the warrior. The warrior?s sword was rusted and damaged by the blast of reiatsu, which surprised Komamura greatly. Komamura summoned the fist of the giant warrior and heaved a punch at Kenshin which Kenshin swung his sword, Umbra, at to block it. Much to Komamura?s surprise, Kenshin was able to hold his own against the punch and Umbra?s dark purple aura flailed around violently. The sword began grinding against the fist and Kenshin finally gained an opening where he sliced directly through the fist and appeared in front of Komamura, who was so stunned that he couldn?t even move. Kenshin threw Umbra over his shoulder with his grip on the handle firm. He slashed at Komamura with a downward sweeping slash that sliced through Komamura?s armor and cut him vertically along his shoulder to his waist. Komamura stumbled backward.
Komamura: Impressive?I never expected?that you *coughs* would grow so strong. Your?zanpakuto?it?s?eating?
Kenshin: You catch on extremely quick, Komamura-san. Yes. Umbra, the dark soul eater, eats and devours Reishi. When it eats them, it absorbs it as well and traps it within the blade. That is Umbra?s special ability?what I like to call ?Soul Trap?. Because it devours the soul of my enemies. Observe?
Kenshin pointed his sword at Komamura and his zanpakuto released a purple gas as 6 purple figure rose out of it. They looked like human souls as they rose out from the sword. The souls flew around Kenshin and glared at Komamura.
Kenshin: These are the souls of a rogue shinigami whom I encountered 90 years ago. And, they're completely under my control. These souls do what I command?and now?my first command is?Attack!
