Kunais for jutsu? So? It means he gonna use them for FTG, or you think he will kill obito with that?
My bold part is absolutely correct. No character has base speed over 5. So w/o KCM and FTG minato cant be faster then itachi for instance. KCM on top sure helps but how much? Except barely escaping Ay once out of 3 KCM naruto wasnt that fast, he was being tossed around by edo jins too.

Never questioned that.Question is how much. Minato was hailed fastest for FTG, Ay for true speed.
Thats in real life, in manga i can link you where minato has outspeeded his own kunai

this isn't entirely correct.
minato was known as yellow flash, and most people assume it's only because of ftg, when it clearly because of his ftg and his own speed.
minato has shown some crazy speed feats even without ftg.
like this:
he started at the same time as the kages, but did all this before they appeared:
putting a mark on the ocean, warping the juubidama away, preparing the marks for the kage barrier and even having a little talk with his son. they only appeared after he had done all this. i doubt anyones speed feat is more impressive than this and he did all this without the help of some speed boost, like raiton armor or kcm.
minato saving baby naruto was also impressive.

How about speed feat of gai where he ignites air by punches and creates huge pressurized attack likewise.
All minato's shunshin feats were replicated by other characters. Him being faster then other kages, well i have nothing to say here, but oh look sasuke while not being edo machine got there minute later, not fast? Kunai at the ocean? he already had it there dont be silly.

gais gates are a speed boost like raiton armor or kcm. minato did this stuff without any of those.
what does edo have do do with anything, if you're slow your're slow, even edo won't change that.
it's you who is underrating minatos feats, just deal with it.

Well let me seee. They dont tire and dont run out of chakra. In order to run one does waste physical energy that is used to mold chakra. Giving huge distance from konoha to battlefield, what does it mean? Sasuke can almost keep up with edos? He didnt take any brake?

PPl dont realize how op it is. He essentially has the ability to cover his own mistakes via his clones. Like how the six paths of pain cover each other with their connected eyes. On top of his already immense reflexes anytime minato (or his clones) are in a jam he (or his clones) can summon themselves or get summoned by him (or his clones) making it even harder to hit let alone touch him or (his clones)
the battlefield is near the ocean, so it's not like he had to go out of his own way to place the kunai.
minato has plenty of battle experience to know, that it may come in handy to place a kunai somewhere near the ocean to warp away huge attacks. he knew he had to fight madara and orochimaru may have told minato that madara was planning on reviving the juubi. remember? orochimaru has all of kabutos memories.
it's true that edos don't get tired, but sasuke being behind the kages for only couple minutes proves that he didn't take any brakes.
