Atheism is Unique

I'm not sure what I am, but I'll post anyways.

I believe that we all are 'Gods'. We all have the power to give and take life. We all have the choice whether or not we'll do so. We all have the power to shape and create the lives that we want and the world that we live in. A lot of people seek guidance and help from a 'divine power' without ever realizing that they themselves have the power to create their own world and shape their lives.

Thank you for sharing your belief but I wanted to speak about atheism becausr there is a large amount of people yhat believe atheism is the road to take. And I want to know why. So far none of these so called atheist can make an argument without mentioning religion. Makes me feel like the group called atheists cant make it on their own. What need have I for duch a group

Not even... most Atheist don't care what people believe in, they just don't like it when religious people try to force their own personally views/beliefs onto other people.

Also, I'm not sure what religion you believe in. But, the Bible states that you must kill people that don't believe in the same religion as you. So, if you're a Christian, that post is very hypocritical.

Because there is very little (if any) evidence that supports the existence of a 'Supreme Being'. That would be the main reason imo. Another, is because religion was firstly used as a means to explain the unexplained; but as we can explain most things, people don't see the need to believe in religion.

Well most I've ever come into contact with have been pretentious snobs that think just because they choose to believe in nothing that they are somehow better, which is the same as bible thumpers or fanatics of most large religions do. So my argument that they aren't exactly unique holds true. And truthfully I consider my self a christian but I have not been to church since I was a young boy because church is just I front to judge each other on clothes and Who caught the most holy ghost

Because there is very little evidence that supports the existence of a 'Supreme Being'. That would be the main reason imo. Another, is because religion was firstly used as a means to explain the explainable; but then was used for gain, to control the people, to 'scare' people into submission to the church and as a means to create wealth.

Still there is no atheist that can talk about his own group without bashing another group. I'm personally agnostic and I put my beliefs more into science. I believe if something is tangible it is real. There is literally no evidence to prove "God" exists. Science has consistently given us logical explanations with sufficient evidences to prove their points whereas people who are so religiously driven base it solely on the fact that it is the will of their "God". There goes another you are so unlike a bible thumper that you have effectively become pretty much the same thing only in the opposite direction. Stop acting like you know If there is an afterlife or not you have not proof that there isn't just like I don't have proof that there is. The only difference is I don't call you ignorant because you don't believe the same as me.

I'm an agnostic seeker, it... Resembles atheism in a way. Basically, in my humble opinion, we can't prove or disprove "God" because "God" is beyond that in a way.
Just wanted to share.

With this guy. I'm more or less the same, but I see it as, I want actually proof; I don't consider the Bible proof, cause that could have been written by anyone. You could compare the Bible to a fairy tail book, if you really want too.

Sure it helps you not be one of those gullible people. To not be gullible just takes common sense and any person without a degree can tell you that. You font need to be a rocket scientist to enjoy life. So let me ask you, does atheism bring anything else to thr table besides scientific facts?
