You have no idea if they're really lazy you just heard other people say that -_-

The fact that the anime is still continuing has nothing to do with them being a good studio. The Bleach anime had fantastic animation in the Fullbring arc, and it was still cancelled.
Tight budget doesn't mean shit if you don't know how to utilize it properly; Studio Pierrot does top notch animation for filler episodes that have nothing to do with the actual plot. (The 'Chikara' filler is prime example). And yet, when it comes to the most important scenes in the manga, they **** up. (Just go watch the infamous 6TK-Naruto vs Pain fight in episode 167).

If you believe that them having a tight budget that would keep the anime going justifies their not-so-good animation and garbage art style, then to hell with the anime, just cancel it. You claim that I've formulated my opinion from what I've heard other people say, yet you presented nothing to back up your claims...

Tight budget =/= A good animation studio

Well the manga version doesn't look to great either
Granted they could have fixed up the chin a little better for the anime but the budget is tight and its tight for a good reason so that it won't end up like other anime's like bleach and fairy tail and so that it can produce and pay for good animation when its really needed like for big fight scenes

Fairy tail is confirmed to return, and it closed not because of budget but because anime caught up with manga, Fairy tail has good budget, they make OVA"S in really beautiful quality, and for certain episodes they give good quality too, and in overall episodes are in pretty good quality. Naruto has even bigger budget but I really have no idea where they spend that money, anime quality is really bad, other anime's that are really unpopular has better quality.

Look at Hunter X Hunter 2011 that is an ongoing show its around episode 90 and the animation is flawless every single week. Every scene no matter how unimportant looks consistently good. And I'm about 1000% sure that Naruto is making more money than HxH so it's not about the money.

Look: This fight is not even important and look at the animation.

At least its in colour.. lol And we get voice acting, music etc.. I just try and look at the good aspects as well. At least the naruto manga has an anime and if you look over the whole series they have done a good job.

From the manga I get cannon consistency's and epic drawings of scenes in the story and from the anime you can get the benefits which I mentioned in the first sentence and more of course.

Most of the time the drawing in the manga always beats the drawing in the anime for the same "still" scene, guess kishi has more passion, I'm use to it by now.

Just have some patience and wait until you actually see the upcoming 3 or 4 episodes. The only thing that bothers me in the anime, especially during this arc, is the lack of gore which it used to have a bit. People getting hammered by the edo kage, gedo statue, seven swordsmen of the mist and more but no blood to be seen or whatever. They just fall down or fly away like Team Rocket in Pokemon.

To be honest, I don't really care about animation as long as it is decent and not the one we saw in the Pain vs Kyuubi fight. Though, it is always nice to see episodes that are beautifully animated (such as the one in the Chikara arc), and I do admit that sometimes the animation could have been a lot better. But as long as there is colour, music, moving objects etc.. then I am satisfied because I get to watch them for free.

The only thing that bothers me in the anime, especially during this arc, is the lack of gore which it used to have a bit. Ahahahah... I agree with you. I always see shinobi dying from being hit by a kunai (or other weapons such as shurikens) yet they seem to have no signs of any physical wounds or external haemorrhage. Also, I don't like it when animators overuse explosion effects. Usually when we see an explosion occurring, the after effects of it is a lot of dead bodies. Yet we see no blood, no disarmed body parts, etc... Not to mention, they (the animators) sometimes add explosion effects that doesn't correlate to a particular scene. For example, in Episode 307 we see a reanimated shinobi causing an explosion by hitting people with an axe. How unrealistic, lol.
