[Discussion] Will the Universe end?

Ii is difficult to think that the universe might end some day. But the cosmologists, the people who study the Universe, are sure it will. They think it will stop expanding outwards, and start shrinking back to nothing. They call this event the 'Big Crunch'. The stars will burn out gradually, and finally, there will be just lumps of rock and dust floating around. However, don't worry too much about it. All this is billions, and possibly trillions of years from now. Moreover, there are still some scientists who think that this won't happen at all, and that the Universe will go on forever. They figure that gravity won't allow the Universe to stop expanding, and so it will just keep getting bigger and bigger!

There's also 5% evidence 95% speculation that there exists a multiverse, multiple universes amongst eachother like a bubblebath. When our universe expands to the point that not even gravity will be sustained, we will just "fly to another universe" and continue thriving. What's there left in Science to learn when our civilization will be around 600 billion years later when it happens? Nothing known to Science could destroy our civilization by that point.

It may expand to the ponit where it collapses, or it may freeze, or there may be another Big Bang that destroys all current life, but the universe will most likely go on, your atoms will simply separate and make new life.
D'you here that? You carry millions of years of life in your veins, every thing in the world is amazing, it will never end until every atom ceases to exist and I think that is impossible. Science for the win!!

here is what I think.... and believe... the reason for the universe to stop existing can only be because of the black holes or super novas and even hyper novas.... now.. will the universe end?
"end" is a big word.... the universe won't ever end if you mean in terms of size.... if you mean whether or not the things inside the universe will seize to exist than possible due to black holes, destruction of stars, and because of novas....
of course that will lead to another life form in another planet because we are all made because of exploding stars.... we literally are stardust.... your real mother is a star that died many trillions of years ago.
So, to sum it up... No! The universe won't end!!!

So what its not like we are sticking around for another trillion years to see what will happen. I doubt earth exist for another billion or trillion years and who knows how much human will mutuate or evolve by then.

Probably. Everything has to come to an end, right?
