Yeah the universe will surely come to an end that's not even a scientific theory or speculation.
It's common sense that everything comes to an end eventually and the universe is no exception.

there is something much worse that has a higher chance of happening, that will wipe all life from out universe forever.

because of the big bang every planet is getting away from one another, and the more time goes the more distance there is. after enough time the universe will get really really cold to the point where the entirety of it will be inhabitable. it's called the big freeze. the only way to escape it is to go to a younger universe

I doubt it. The universe is constantly expanding. It is increasing the volume in which it encompasses everything. The universe is the space in which houses EVERYTHING. How can something like that just end? It is creating more space by expanding meaning it won't stop. About our race; it is dependent on which course our race takes. Once we reach FTL travel and cure aging, we'll easily be able to live on other planets or in different galaxies. Once we reach Type 1 civilization status (Reaching a technological singularity where we surpass insane boundaries and any threats that were huge to us like cancer, poverty etc. are completely gone) we'll be fine.

Just for arguments sake, I'll try to go against this. While yes, the concept of something never ending is alive, think about it. Numbers aren't real. They're a human made system used to help explain and label the things we see around us. It's merely a concept; so yes, infinity is never ending, but it's not real. Meanwhile the universe is real, so it's still plausible to say that the universe could end at some point in time.
