I'm getting a bit exhausted seeing Naruto triumph all the time. Don't get me wrong Naruto is one of my favorite characters. Still that doesn't mean i relish every time Naruto succeeds when it comes to bringing justice. The plot needs to make the SA & Naruto go through turmoil already. Juubito and Madara are the only villains left, after Itachi released the Edo Tensei. The other Edo's didn't really meet my expectations. Kishimoto pretty much rushed the previous events in order to reach the finale. I'm not trying to imply that Kishimoto is a bad writer. I'm just trying to point out the obvious here. Let's be honest, Kishimoto seems to have lost his passion for this manga. Let's take a look back at the "Itachi Pursuit Arc or Pain Arc." These arcs brought the best episodes in Naruto Shippuden. The battles didn't disappoint one bit. We have Sasuke fighting Itachi at last to show his brother how far he's come since their last encounter on Konoha. Sasuke becomes a villain after discovering the truth from Obito's story. Sasuke later on becomes an Akatsuki member and later on after his battle with Bee. Sasuke becomes an international criminal. Naruto's role as the protagonist improves after Naruto faces Pain. Naruto finally discovers more about the philosophy of hatred and peace, discovers that Minato is his father, and matures after the travesty that befell the village. You see there's differences that both arcs brought for Naruto and Sasuke. Finally, Naruto and Sasuke experienced the most difficult pain in their lives. Both of them took this as experience and walked out of it with different beliefs. This is what made the manga more interesting for me.

This war has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I'm sure many of you had ups and downs with the last two arcs. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful. I'm just saying Kishomoto should of taken a hiatus if he lost his passion for his work. Hell, a time-skip of one or two years would've been fine for me. Naruto and Sasuke improve their powers to new heights since receiving the EMS and KCM. The SA and Akatsuki's plans are ready to unfold once both parties are ready to commence war against each other. Finally, the war ends in a blood bath for the SA, but they manage to beat Akatsuki. Naruto and Sasuke have their final power-ups and end their final fight with Naruto being the victor. I'm just saying i'm only watching the manga because i'm hoping that Kishimoto will peak our curiosity with the ending. As far as im concerned, the last two arcs needed to be the best of the bunch. I mean i rather see Naruto vs Pain than what i'm currently seeing in the manga. Also, a key note is that most of the important battles are nothing more than just quarreling. The talking could of been cut in order to promote a better stability in the arc by focusing on other characters or progressing the plot without the unnecessary touches. The Edo's were taken the purpose of being a threat. After all the Edo's only kept giving the SA the advantage on how they can pick the victory over them. Otherwise, the SA would of been severely more weakened if it weren't for the Edo's giving advice to the good side. The war didn't really have enough carnage before the Juubi, except when Madara made an appearance. From that moment on, the war should of gotten more serious.

To end things, Kabuto, Obito, and Madara are the worst villains in this series. I hope that i'm proven wrong with the following chapters that are to come that both Obito and Madara are the real deal. The point is they're both all talk and no bite. Seems both of them are inept to become real villains such as Nagato and Orochimaru. At least, Nagato and Orochimaru brought something to the table without jeopardizing their chances of winning against the enemy.

Q: What disappoints you about the manga?

id like to introduce you to my friend
his name is paragraphs
Do you even know what a paragraph is? Guess not...

He did use paragraphs... :|
Thank you!

There were like 20+ sentences in each "paragraph" :|
That's not paragraphs

Its not easy to read
Sorry
What do you call it? Btw it's 14 sentences not +20 sentences! Learn how to count, loser.

lol this^
a paragraph is 5 to 7 sentences
and it was hard to read
Like anyone doesn't know the standard rule for paragraphs. First of all, paragraphs should have 5-7 sentences to organize your thoughts. However, a paragraph is not limited to a size. A paragraph can be short or long. The ending of your post shows how mediocre it comes to reading. Why don't you start exercising your brain for once.

Why are people complaining about the paragraphs? :| If you don't like don't read it and stop spamming

OT: Yeah, Naruto is going downhill. Invasion of Pain arc was the best arc, the Summit was decent after that it started to get worse and worse imho

but a true fan will love the manga no matter what they do....if you were a true fan you would think the war arc is good....just saying.

But as for my opinion, i think you vastly underrate the war arc. The plot of it is superb, and the main few characters have some great developement.

The problem is not "not enough deaths", or "to much talking". It is simply what it is lacking to be complete. It is like ice cream without the toppings. Still good, but if something is added to it it becomes much better.

If kishi had taken some more time to show some fodders fight, and show more of k11 and other strong shinobi, the war arc would be near perfect.

The main reason people are disappointed in the arc, is because there arent any deaths. Well there were, many tens of thousands of them. The reason that it doesnt feel like people died, is the war arc was mostly focused around the main characters. Also we missed some of the main fighting(like kakashis rampage).

But me as a TRUE fan of Naruto, im thoroughly enjoying his plot twists and developments. I do wish he had spent some more time developing some random ninjas, so we would FEEL the actual impact of the war(because it did happen, just wasnt shown) this can be fixed a bit if kishi shows alot of people upset because their loved one died in the war.(and some huge monument with all the names).

I from part 1 realized the powerscales would grow huge, so im not surprised.

edo was summon for next generation always surpass previous... almost all edo characters have good fight. rookies have many screen time too.
but at the point where they did get scene time, nobody gave a shit because kishi had put them on the sidelines for years. He always give the side characters their scene time at the wrong moments and it feel out of place at times

we didn't need: 1. the panels of sai getting on his bird and ATTEMPTING to attack the juubi

2. useless sakura panels where she talks in her head

3. kiba saying he's going to become hokage

4. the kabuto flashback

this can't even be considered a war anymore..hell, this doesn't even feel like a battle to tell the truth

we have the whole alliance in front of the main enemies, but yet they are talking instead of attacking..and when they do attack it's usually only one attack from naruto or sasuke and then it's back to standing around and talking

they could at least act like their trying to save the world and madara could at least TRY TO DO SOMETHING but instead he just sits around and let his plans get destroyed:|

You have your opinion and i have mine own. This is what makes the world go round. I'm not understanding how you can express yourself by stating how i underrate the War Arc. I'm saying that most of the panels were simply talking a lot and no action. The previous fights were rushed and some of them got boring, because the enemy kept giving out their weaknesses to the SA. Character development shifted from good to bad. The villains are basically setting themselves up for failure when there was no reason. I understand the good side always prevails over evil, but what's the point of the war? The SA having thousands of it's ninjas die in the process doesn't matter. The Kages dying would of impressed me because that means Kishimoto is not afraid in killing important characters. The villains are a joke especially Obito with the constant reminiscent of Rin. Madara is becoming obnoxious ever since Hashirama made his debut on the battlefield. What's the point of the "Moon Plan" if the villains are busy paying attention to nonsense?

but at the point where they did get scene time, nobody gave a shit because kishi had put them on the sidelines for years. He always give the side characters their scene time at the wrong moments and it feel out of place at times

Thanks for pointing out how this so called war has turned for the worse.
