I'm getting a bit exhausted seeing Naruto triumph all the time. Don't get me wrong Naruto is one of my favorite characters. Still that doesn't mean i relish every time Naruto succeeds when it comes to bringing justice. The plot needs to make the SA & Naruto go through turmoil already. Juubito and Madara are the only villains left, after Itachi released the Edo Tensei. The other Edo's didn't really meet my expectations. Kishimoto pretty much rushed the previous events in order to reach the finale. I'm not trying to imply that Kishimoto is a bad writer. I'm just trying to point out the obvious here. Let's be honest, Kishimoto seems to have lost his passion for this manga. Let's take a look back at the "Itachi Pursuit Arc or Pain Arc." These arcs brought the best episodes in Naruto Shippuden. The battles didn't disappoint one bit. We have Sasuke fighting Itachi at last to show his brother how far he's come since their last encounter on Konoha. Sasuke becomes a villain after discovering the truth from Obito's story. Sasuke later on becomes an Akatsuki member and later on after his battle with Bee. Sasuke becomes an international criminal. Naruto's role as the protagonist improves after Naruto faces Pain. Naruto finally discovers more about the philosophy of hatred and peace, discovers that Minato is his father, and matures after the travesty that befell the village. You see there's differences that both arcs brought for Naruto and Sasuke. Finally, Naruto and Sasuke experienced the most difficult pain in their lives. Both of them took this as experience and walked out of it with different beliefs. This is what made the manga more interesting for me.
This war has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I'm sure many of you had ups and downs with the last two arcs. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful. I'm just saying Kishomoto should of taken a hiatus if he lost his passion for his work. Hell, a time-skip of one or two years would've been fine for me. Naruto and Sasuke improve their powers to new heights since receiving the EMS and KCM. The SA and Akatsuki's plans are ready to unfold once both parties are ready to commence war against each other. Finally, the war ends in a blood bath for the SA, but they manage to beat Akatsuki. Naruto and Sasuke have their final power-ups and end their final fight with Naruto being the victor. I'm just saying i'm only watching the manga because i'm hoping that Kishimoto will peak our curiosity with the ending. As far as im concerned, the last two arcs needed to be the best of the bunch. I mean i rather see Naruto vs Pain than what i'm currently seeing in the manga. Also, a key note is that most of the important battles are nothing more than just quarreling. The talking could of been cut in order to promote a better stability in the arc by focusing on other characters or progressing the plot without the unnecessary touches. The Edo's were taken the purpose of being a threat. After all the Edo's only kept giving the SA the advantage on how they can pick the victory over them. Otherwise, the SA would of been severely more weakened if it weren't for the Edo's giving advice to the good side. The war didn't really have enough carnage before the Juubi, except when Madara made an appearance. From that moment on, the war should of gotten more serious.
To end things, Kabuto, Obito, and Madara are the worst villains in this series. I hope that i'm proven wrong with the following chapters that are to come that both Obito and Madara are the real deal. The point is they're both all talk and no bite. Seems both of them are inept to become real villains such as Nagato and Orochimaru. At least, Nagato and Orochimaru brought something to the table without jeopardizing their chances of winning against the enemy.
Q: What disappoints you about the manga?
