I'm not that far in and haven't got to the manga yet but I was wondering, have they ever mentioned how high Rogers bounty was before he died?

Also I saw another post about Luffy's future bounty and I just wanted to put this out there, Luffy is the star of the manga more than likely he will have the highest bounty ever, I think we'll see Luffy reach a 1 Billion Berri bounty by the end of the series.(I know they increase slowly after 100 Million)

The 1.5 billion for roger was never official was it? And have they given a bounty for Luffy's dad?

I serioulsy doubt there was any bounty, even for the Pirate King, that was practically triple that number.

There are seriously dangerous/notorious/powerful individuals who aren't even at 500,000,000.
Oh, and the bounties aren't considered truly hard to increase until they surpass 300,000,000.​

The highest specific bounty is Aces with 550 million
However a guy called Chinjao in the manga has a non specified bounty of over 500 million.
But no higher bounty has been mentioned or shown. My estimate is a Yonkou will have a bounty of over 800 million.

No. He said it is rare and difficult to increase your bounty over 300 million. Only the greatest threats towards the marines or world government have bounty's exceeding 300 million. This is why most warlords have bounties exceeding 300,000,000. Because they are deemed a threat if they do not side with the world government. However there are exceptions where their bounties increase so quickly they need to be apointed before it is too late e.g. Crocodile and Boa Hancock.

People with bounties exceeding three hundred million are all Yonkou big shot crew members and captains or big shot new-world captains e.g. Luffy or Kidd. Other bigshots could be revolutionary commanders and Dragon.

I thought it went like hitting the 300mil mark shows you could be something but it is when you hit 400mil that you are considered an elite. So I guess at 300mil you still a rookie and we await to see if you have it in you to get to 4(if not then join pple stronger/don't go New World-lol) .

but wasn't Ace's bounty high just cause of the fact that he was Roger's biological son? Don't get me wrong, Ace is really strong but yeah.

Anyways, we never even seen Rayleigh's bounty too.

Hmm, I think in his case, his strength alone warranted his bounty. After all...
With his crew, he made a massive reputation for himself, so much so that the WG wanted to make him a Shichibukai.
Of course, there's also the fact that he was a logia-type and joined the ranks of the WB Pirates; becoming a commander.

That's all on top of his being Roger's biological son, which no doubt was a good part of his bounty too.​

I think Luffy will get a 1 Billion Berri bounty just because like you said no one has had close to that high before and he's the star which means he'll be better/farther than the rest by the end.
