What was the better avenged death? [ Naruto ]

Hidan is slowly dying from starvation while in pieces and dug under stones. He has been dying since that Arc since Kakuzu remarked he is not dead yet.

meanwhile, Nagato died because he chose to.

Well the whole idea behind Naruto's resolve by the end was to prove that he wouldn't give into hatred, revenge, etc...

Shikamaru actually finished Hidan off out of regard for Asuma. I mean he even imagined his sensei by his side during the final scene.

Definitely Asuma and Shikamaru. Not only was it written so much better (None of that Naruto talk no Jutsu bullshit, the book) but it just had a more "classy" feel to it. Not to mention that Shikamaru has so much swag. Naruto and Nagato's fight may have been of a highe level but that's not what this thread is about.
