Do you then think he would solo Madara if he now turns to the villain-side.

Madara is the best Uchiha with Sharingan, at the moment. If Sasuke fought him and learned new ways to use his eyes, then he might have a fair chance, but right now, that chance is slim to nill.

I want him to be involved with a fight that doesn't involve him standing in the back, gathering dust. Or fighting fodderized Zetsu clones with deformed faces.

Sasuke is good, no doubt but sill needs to learn to use his new eyes to the fullest.

Might I say, having the rinnegan doesn't mean he will use it.

If Sasuke does push Madara to use it then he does have a chance because he didn't use it vs the kages. He just spawned it.

Thought Sasuke has the best 3 tomoe and Madara doesn't have amaterasu nor a genjutsu like Itachi, I would say he has a equal genjutsu to Sasuke. Madara only has susanoo and sasuke has mastered susanoo and amaterasu while every other Uchiha only mastered one. Itachi genjutsu, Obito ability, and Madara susanoo.
