3 years ago. I met her at school. She was the most beautiful girl I've seen. I was impressed and hypnotised by so much beauty. I fell in love with her. I used to see each other twice a weak(it was extra classes, not the regular school). I was 13 back theb and she was 4 years older than me. We used to cross eyes and stare at each other sometimes. I was afraid but I made a move and asked her out. She said no. It took me a lot of time to forget her. Even now(we're not even in the same city) I think of her(rarely). Since then,I promised myself that I wont fall in love again.

I fell in love about a year after my parents divorced. I had been dating my boyfriend for a few months, and we hit a rough patch because I was still struggling with the divorce. That's when he told me that he wanted to be there for me, no matter what and no matter for how long. We've been together for almost four years. <3

Not because one girl rejected me. I "loved" some girls before that( I "liked" them). But this girl I really loved, and I filled myself with hopr. When she said no, it broke me. It's not her fault, it's mine. So now I wont get hurt again I will make sure that the girl has a feeling for me, then I will "unlock" my feelings. I will develop a long relationship and only then I will allow myself to feel something. Of course, it wont last forever, but at least, if I fall in love, I will be with the girl, and I will stay with her for sometimr. That will be enough in order to avoid the feeling I had when she said no.

1st time?
I was 19 and my best friend and roommate introduced me to his sister. She was fine as hell and my buddy was okay with me taking a shot so I went for it. Got married four months later. Nine months later we're broke because she didn't want to get a job while she was in school and still wanted to spend a bunch of money on bullshit. Her dad who never liked the fact that I wasn't Mexican or Catholic tells her to come live with him again since I obviously can't provide the kind of lifestyle she was used to. I said if you leave we're done. She leaves. My friend hasn't talked to her or his dad since either.
2nd time.
A little while ago I met a girl at a bar. We flirt. She out drinks me which is impressive considering I'm a full foot taller than her. We just kinda fit together. It's awesome. She cleans. I cook. We both work. She doesn't spend stupid amounts of money on stupid crap. She's crude and blunt like me. She has the same stance on parenting and family as I do. We don't mind each others faults. We were able to live together pretty easily. Now we're engaged and expecting twins.

I sometimes wonder if the love I felt for the women in my romantic life was genuine or "true".
I certainly "thought" i was in love, but as the relationships and time passed I realized that I don't give a shit about those women anymore. People say love is something that lasts forever but it doesn't. Not for everyone.

I can somewhat relate to this. After my 17th, I stopped bothering myself with emotions in general. All the dates I've had after that where triggered by the girls' innitiative, not mine. I usually ignore them when they show interest. Just out of habit now which is bad..
