Just fcking watch it! Yes, it's long, but it doesn't feel that way once you finally watch it. It has very good pace(the anime gets slow at times to avoid fillers), it has great action, greeeaat comedy, but most of all, it has characters that you will literally love. Anything you would feel for a real person, you would feel for one of the Straw Hats.

And no, it doesn't have much fillers. Anyways, they're good and at opportune times. Actually, one of my favorite One Piece arcs(in the anime obv) is a filler arc. It's the longest filler arc. It's about ten episodes, and it fits wonderfully into the story.

Stop starting arguments about things that are without a doubt subjective, just because Naruto is getting more and more terrible by the day(again, subjective). WE love One Piece, you don't have to. Personally, it's my favourite anime/manga with Berserk and 20th Century Boys. The things I like the most are, by far, the characters and their developments, new island = new adventures, the humor is also nice though sometimes it gets kind of too..... I dunno, Japanese-ish. It's weird to say it like that, but sometimes I just don't get the joke . It's a funny manga nonetheless. Err, what more.... One Piece has Going Merry, and Dr Hiluluk, probably the saddest scenes in shounen (for me).
Characters I really like (examples): Kizaru/Luffy/Usopp/Sanji/Franky, etc. If you like badass characters, One piece has many of them, if you like funny/stupid-ish characters, like me, there are plenty of them too. That's pretty obvious since it has +700 chapters.

Also, if you want an unbiased review, try Googling instead of asking here.
