Sakura's Feelings In Chapter635

sakura isn't a deep character she was sheltered and insecure as a child, she formed a deep bond with sasuke and had it broken but she still loves him even if she doesn't trust his intentions anymore

Sakura doesn't trust Sasuke anymore, therefore the love she had for him in the beginning is no longer the same. She's realizing this and lying to Sai with a fake smile was basically reassuring him that things will be okay for now, since Sasuke hasn't done anything yet. She's keeping a close eye on Sasuke but she knows he's up to no good. One wrong move from Sasuke and she won't hesitate to take him down to protect Naruto (that's the determined look she had on her face in the last chapter when she was watching Sasuke). Through out the series of Part II, she's mostly been talking about protecting Naruto and joining him to bring Sasuke back so she'll definitely stay by Naruto's side. Of course, like Naruto, she deeply cares about Sasuke and wouldn't want to hurt him (especially since he's her first love), but they both know that force will be used if Sasuke turns his back on them again. She no longer loves him like the way she thinks she does and she's coming to that conclusion. Maybe love in the way Naruto loves Sasuke (friendship almost like family) but never the same.

Well Sasuke did try to kill Sakura twice without remorse so.....it's gonna take some time for Sakura to completely trust Sasuke.

i agree, I feel that unless sasuke turns back to normal (when team 7 started getting along in part1, where sasuke always helped sakura) then sakuras going to sacrifice herself for no reason when both naruto and sasuke fight (if that ever happens).
even if the two dont fight, sasukes has a plan and oro is BSing right now and im not buying it, hes just waiting for sasukes move

sakura knows that sasuke didnt come back for them, maybe slightly, but the real reason is for himself, everything he does has purpose to him..

Basically. She loves Sasuke, whether that is still romantic or not, is irrelevant in this case. She wants to trust him and she wants to be happy that he is back; but deep down she knows that she can't and doesn't trust him, she knows something is up with him. That was the purpose of the fake smile. Sai explained way back in the 4 tails arc that "a fake smile is the best way to hide your true feelings or emotions".

If she trusted Sasuke (like some SasuSaku fans say), there would have been no fake smile. She would of been genuinely happy.

sakura's love for sasuke is one of sakura very very few redeeming qualities.

this chapter just says that Sakura is still in love with sasuke and that she trsuts him and he has come back. but she is nervous, because she is afraid that he will reject her feelings or has an ulterior motive, becuase he has done this before.

Sakura wasnt liying but her face was what that mean i think is sakura.
Love sasuke but she know he is up to something however she trust he will be good again .
