[Question] About Fan fic competitions

Hello, I'm relatively new here and I would like to join to a fan fic competition but I have some questions first.

1. Does each competition has a specific topic?
2. I have written 3 chapters as it's required but they're unrelated to this competion and I have already posted them so I don't get if this disqualifies me.
3. These 3 chapters are a continuation of each other but my story doesn't end here as I plan to continue. Does the trilogy we post must end in this 3 chapters?
4. How exactly do I take part in a competition. Which is exactly the process? Do I ihave to follow a specific format?

To enter a contest you must do the following
Take part in a contest submission which takes part every month..
And then soon the voting thread will be created and then the results will be revealed in the end of the month

3. No they do not have to end in the 3 chapters.
4. When the submitting thread opens, just follow the template and post in the thread. The chapters itself does not need to follow a specific format. It's best to make sure it's easy on your readers eyes though.
