SAkumo

Like his son, Sakumo was a gifted shinobi praised for his talents in the ninja arts even by the likes of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage. In battle, Sakumo was a truly powerful shinobi, his prowess surpassing that of the Sannin. The mere idea of facing Sakumo brought fear to enemies, as shown from the reaction of an Iwagakure shinobi initially believing Kakashi to be his father. His primary weapon during battle was a tanto called the White Light Chakra Sabre that would emit a trail of white chakra when swung, earning him the nickname "Konoha's White Fang". After he died, he left his tanto to Kakashi, which was later on cut in half when Kakashi fought an Iwagakure shinobi.

Kakashi is shown to be very respected throughout Konoha, as well as being one of the most powerful ninja Konoha has to offer. Since a young age, his skill and reputation have quickly grown to the point that most opponents know of him, and find great delight or dread in the thought of facing him. Even Pain, an extremely dangerous ninja, viewed Kakashi's skills as a considerable effect on his plans if he did not get rid of Kakashi first. Kakashi is also recognized as the foremost jutsu specialist in Konoha, due to his high proficiency in all forms of ninja combat, and his gradually increasing arsenal of over a thousand jutsu, copied with his Sharingan eye. His knowledge of jutsu is so high that he is requested to watch over Naruto should the seal of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox begin to fail. A true testament to his skill is during a conversation between Jiraiya and Tsunade, mentioning that if the need should ever arise, Kakashi would be an obvious candidate for the title of Hokage, implying that his powers are of Kage-level.[1] Both are proven to be true, when Kakashi's name as Sixth Hokage is highly considered by the Fire Country Council.

When Kakashi was younger, he was shown to have inherited his father's uniquely strong and adaptive chakra, as well as the ability to manifest it through his clan's special tanto to form a white aura. He was taught several of his master's unique skills, including the Rasengan. However, Kakashi was only able to master the jutsu to the extent the Fourth had, as the Rasengan was meant for elemental chakra to be mixed with it. He is well-versed in all forms of armed fighting as well, commonly employing a standard kunai to effectively fight against much larger weapons.

Minato

According to Jiraiya, Minato was easily one of the most gifted shinobi who ever lived. He created the Rasengan, a technique that does not rely on hand signs, but instead uses a concentration of spinning chakra in the palm, which causes immense damage to its target on contact. Minato had planned to add his own nature manipulation training to the Rasengan, making it even more powerful, but couldn't manage to combine the two prior to his premature death. He had a keen knowledge of fūinjutsu, and was one of the few people capable of getting Gamabunta to work with him.
It is unknown exactly how strong Minato was in combat. Flee-on-sight orders were given to enemy shinobi during the Third Great Shinobi World War in case he ever appeared on the battlefield. This stemmed from his Flying Thunder God Technique, which essentially allowed him to teleport to any location with the use of a special seal. By throwing kunai that had the seal attached to them behind enemy lines, Minato could wipe out an entire platoon in the blink of an eye without receiving a scratch. This earned him the nickname of Konoha's Yellow Flash, because of the speed at which Minato (with his yellow hair) moved when using this jutsu.

At the start of the series, the only jutsu Naruto could do without fail was the Sexy Technique,[1] a creative but almost completely useless diversionary technique, used simply to shock his instructors. Though Naruto had trouble with the Clone Technique at the start of the series, he quickly learned how to use Jonin-level techniques, like the Shadow Clone Technique and its larger-scale version. His abilities continue to improve throughout the series, but he ironically never progresses past the rank of Genin, though Naruto has regularly proven himself a match during Part II for being able to defend against the S-Class members of Akatsuki, demonstrating Kage-level fighting skill.
In his training with Jiraiya during the timeskip, Naruto's ninjutsu and taijutsu prowess have grown greatly. He has also been taught some limited skill at dispelling genjutsu. Like Tenten, he has begun storing extra weapons in summoning scrolls to increase his arsenal of tools in battle. However, the most valuable assets Naruto gained in his training with Jiraiya were increased battle smarts and more knowledge of the basics of a shinobi, which was what he lacked during Part I. This, along with the skills and abilities Naruto has gained, makes him a much more complete ninja.
Like in Part I, Naruto began Part II appearing inferior to Sasuke, as shown during their brief encounter. While Sasuke easily overwhelmed Team Kakashi, and even managed to meet the sealed Nine-Tailed Demon Fox via ocular means; Naruto's further training, vow for revenge on Jiraiya, and eventual defeat of Pain have dictated arguments of the better of the two. While Naruto has yet to show any resistance to the Sharingan, Zetsu, whose analytical skills are rather accurate and shrewd, proclaimed that Naruto was stronger for the time being. Sasuke brushed off his comment, apparently unconcerned.[2]
Strategy
Although Naruto generally shows a lack of intelligence, he has the ability to instantly come up with useful and unpredictable strategies when needed. The first example of this was seen in the Land of Waves, where he deduced a three-part strategy, with some help from Sasuke, to free Kakashi from Zabuza's Water Prison Technique.
The second example is when he was fighting Gaara during the invasion of Konoha, where he seemed to try to use a kunai to perform One Thousand Years of Death. However, the kunai was later revealed to have an exploding tag wrapped around the handle, which exploded in Gaara's armor at its weakest spot, damaging it greatly and disorientating Gaara.
The third was that he allowed himself to be injured by Kabuto in order to trap him, bringing him in range for his first real use of Rasengan while he was immobilized due to his broken legs. He also figured out how to pass Kakashi's second bell test by pretending to spoil the ending of Jiraiya's new book, which forced Kakashi to leave himself vulnerable while trying not to hear it. The most recent example was his strategy to defeat the last of Nagato's Six Paths of Pain with an elaborate array of back-up plans.

I'd give the edge to minato and naruto. If minato hadn't died he would have taught naruto a lot of his jutsu's thus making naruto stronger.

:p of ocurse i choosed naruto 2 but sakumo surpaased all the sanins combined sooo
u have completely misinterpreted how the 4th said that. he didnt say that sakumo surpassed all legendary sannin combined, he actually said "his father had respect on the same level as the legendary sannin..." Which means he had as much praise and recognition as the legendary sannin.

but back to the topic, naruto and minato would slaughter sakumo and kakashi completely.

I don't understand your high hopes in Juugo guys. Has he shown anything that could be compared to someone who kicks ass? Really, he only did tranform into a kid, that's all. Being a source of cursed seal doesnt mean being strong as hell.
