Combinations-strategies

If I were attacked by a Taijutsu user I could activate this jutsu while they were assaulting me to be on the offensive and defensive at the same time. If confronted by Suiton, I could potentially use this jutsu to send a shock up their spine.

Ways to counter:

A powerful piercing jutsu that I could use at long range would probably be the safest and most effective way to counter this jutsu, but even a close range piercing jutsu could take it down if powerful enough.

Gathering my chakra around my entire body, I focus my Raiton Chakra and quickly jolt it out and around my body and hold it, creating a large electric barrier around myself.

If confronted by Suiton, I could potentially use this jutsu to send a shock up their spine.

Now this is the tricky part, there are 2 things to keep in mind fast, if you want to shock your opponent then it should be a continuous release of water from his body then only you can shock him, if it is projectile base then your lightning will only give charge to your opponent water and thus make it hard for you to counter as you will now be dealing with a combo....

Is this jutsu just activated for a brief moment? If not, do you know how long it stays active?

Let's say it remains active for a long time then also let me tell you in a battle it won't last much long, the reason is simple when you use this jutsu to attack you will attack in one go and not wait for couple of turns to attack him, right.

If used for defense then it will come in play that very moment and will thus nullify with your opponent attack.....

Thus it is safe enough to say that even if this jutsu can be activated for a long time then also that property is more or less useless in a active battle...

The other downside to keep it active is that you won't be able to perform wind attack as it will cancel the armour and some other scenario are also possible..

but to answer your question, I think it can remain active as long as you are concentrating on it to maintain your chakra flow......

Just a variation of above jutsu...... all that it does is that it explodes upon contact and due to the explosion your enemy is pushed back a couple of meters...

Creating a clone of myself, I step back a little over 10 meters away from it before gathering my chakra around my entire body. I focus my Raiton Chakra once again and push it out and around my body and hold it there, forming a large electric barrier around myself. I have the clone launch an attack on the barrier and it explodes, making the clone and shield disappear.

I don't think it can be used to avoid weapons.... it is good against earth but not weapons, I suggest using wind to blow away weapons instead of this jutsu.

Simple enough.... the bolts are not to big to begin with and the power of each bolt is reduced with increase in number so I don't suggest creating more than 3-4 bolts per use.

I focus my Raiton Chakra up through both of my arms and point them outward towards the rock that I was previously sitting on, shooting a wave of lightning bolts at the rock, leaving a slight burn mark on it.

Like how you explained it last time ^_^ If someone were to use a Suiton jutsu that's a stream of water flowing from the mouth if one were to hit the stream with a Raiton jutsu, it might shock them.

Why use doton when it is weak to lightning

As long as it isn't connected to you, something like a small Doton projectile of higher rank might block it.

Also the first part is self explanatory, all it does is charge your fist with lightning chakra and release it outwards in form of a wave to attack your opponent and like stated you can alter its damage dealing capacity, now let me explain the water part in detail as it is something new for now, all it basically means is that once you use a water attack or your opponent is drenched then you quickly use this technique to electrocute your opponent....

I have a question for you.

Let's say I use a long range water attack which is projectile base in nature, I quickly follow up with above jutsu to charge it so would the lightning travel upto long range with the water jutsu or will it cancel out at short range as the lightning jutsu can only go upto short range?

Well, since Lightning by nature is able to surge through the earth and water, it would probably be able to travel along it as long as the Suiton jutsu didn't have too wide of a range, since Lightning also gets less powerful the further it grounds out. That being said, it would probably travel along the continuous projectile, but get weaker as it shot further from the source. However I'm not sure about this, seeing as this is chakra and not actual elements, and it's an assumption on my part since this isn't elaborated on in the description.

Concentrating my raiton chakra into my palm, I focus it there until it's quite powerful and aim at the same rock as before, releasing a powerful bolt of electricity at it.

You are right it will travel up to long range and no it won't loose its power, it will simply mix with water and increase its power and yes you are right if the water source is way to big and lightning is really small/low rank then it will loose its charge without charging the water all that much.

I create a clone and send it at me launching basic taijutsu, but to only get shocked by my shield.

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

A technique which very hard to use because it requires a specific terrain and in most cases it is not the scenario, you basically first perform the required hand seal and the while standing almost at the top of the cliff but yet not on the top you release a wave of lightning and use it to dis-lodge the rocks above you, these rocks then rain down on your opponent...

I walk to a near mountain range, running up a cliff face as focus my raiton chakra on the cliff face as I run up it. I form the handseals Snake → Upside down Tiger, and then clap my hands together. Turning around on the rock wall, I nonchalantly watch boulders and rubble from the mountain crash down to the field below.

More or less the same jutsu as we have learned before though it was D rank, nothing has changed you can use this jutsu to attack multiple enemies though like I said before the power of each bolt is reduced with increase in number, the only main difference is its initiation process.

I just mean in general, like how you use the jutsu xD Sorry if I was confusing. (Also I meant that it would be difficult for Futon users to counter a barrage of boulders, and would be ideal for combating them if you had no other option.)

Well, it would also depend on location in this case. There are various ways I could think of, but it wouldn't do much good considering they would be difficult to set up to begin with.

I don't prefer 2 jutsu per post, the reason being I have tried it in the best and it did not work out well but if you still insist we may give it a try.

Okay a useful technique but is a bit slow as the opponent can start his counter the moment he sees you charging your sword, now what you basically do is charge your sword with your lightning chakra which obviously increases its cutting power, once done you go on to create 2 extra physical copies of your sword these swords will spin rapidly, you now controll these swords and send them towards your opponent to cut him.

The three swords begin spinning at high speeds before I shoot them at the same tree I fired my last jutsu at. The swords pierce the tree at barely traceable speeds, the duplicates disappearing shortly after. I pull the original out of the bark and sheathe it once more.

You are very good in describing the technique and I said that if you do this part well then I will make you stop doing this mid way and now you can stop doing this

Self explanatory, All you basically do is just charge your hand with lightning chakra, once done jump up in the air and once you descend you slam your hand on the ground and thus release that electric charge outwards, it travels via ground......
