That is a rational response to make that claim since all the attacks he tanked served a purpose of defeating their opponent. And none of them had the side effects on him.

Edit: Now Im not saying that he can lived in that gas all he wants and nothing happens. But Im saying she can just shoot it and expect it to work instantly

Even if it won't work instantly, Mei is a skilled mid - long ranged fighter. Hidan and Kabuto won't have a chance to approach her.

They aren't dodging Mei's attacks. Her handseal speed is extremely fast ( 42 seals in less, then a second ), so even if they can dodge her first Water Dragon, they surely won't dodge the 2nd, let alone the 3rd.

And I didn't even mentioned the fact she can fill the room with acid mist, so Kabuto and Hidan won't be able to find her,

Your seriously telling me that a guy as skilled in taijutsu and can tank almost any attack wont be able to "approach" her....I think there is too much overhyping done here. Also pre ts Kabuto was fighting pretty much on par with Tsunade and was said to be around Kakashi's level.
