Howcome red hair tells he is a Uzumaki or not?

Firstly Naruto is like half Uzumaki half wht Namikaze but has no red hairs.
Secondly Chōza Akimichi, Sasori, Tayuya, Gaara and even Sakura's father who has no relationship with Uzumaki has red hairs,so is this kishi mistake in naruto series?

Her trait is dependent on her parents not her grandparent. Though combination of Uzumaki clan and Senju clan would make a true Senju =D
