Obito is faster than Naruto

he's fast but not that fast xd in that scan if naruto hadn't lent all of his chakra he would have been able to sense obito in time without kakashi's help and plus when it comes to shunshin naruto's is the fastest but with other jutsu like ftg and kamui they can match naruto xd

& why not? Speed is speed no matter what the means of travel is.

you know why is it called S/T jutsu right.
because speed=distance/time.
in the case of normal speed,the user crosses a distance in a certain time.thus speed exists.
in the case of S/T jutsu:the user pops from point A to point B instantly.means he didn't cross any distance,the distance crossed=0(he didn't move)
time=0.
thus his speed=0/0 which can't be calculated thus speed for a S/T user doesn't exist.

He didnt try to grab, but rather strike. Naruto reacted in time due to kakashi's warning.
The scan clearly shows obito covering more distance, he could even get more if not the ground, naruto however is still in flight.
Obito>naruto in speed.

It takes time to warp himself, however it takes no time at all to go intangible, as I said im comparing overall speed & while naruto can travel short distances in a significant amount of time, obito has multiple other speed feats that make him overall faster.

& I agree obito's speed is next to nothing without kamui

If someone throws a ball at you from behind & the person in front of you sees it & yells watch out, then that person can be significantly slower but still evade it.

If you consider Minato faster than Naruto, I want you to know that he uses FTG which is S/T ninjutsu. If you consider FTG speed, you HAVE to consider Kamui speed as well. however, I don't entirely agree with this statement. Good thread though.

Kakashi told naruto to watch out, all naruto needs is milliseconds. Who do you think these guys are? These are the top 2 fastest ninja in the series, any bit of help for either of them will be of great use in a battle of speed.

Then you can say that the speed of obito & minato is 0 (which = fastest)

If their speed cant even be measured in a distance of time, then that makes them the fastest by default.

Over short distances, Naruto is faster because his blitzing is almost instantaneous, needs no preparation. Obito on the other hande has to completely warp himself which takes time. Otherwise, yes Obito is faster because of his space time jutsu but miles slower without it.

During a battle, his teleportation speed is useless since it takes too much time in the contrary of FTG which is instant. Reason why he mostly rely on his intangibility in battle

If it were the other way round and lets say Madara told Obito to look out. I'm pretty sure Obito could not dodge it and has to go intangible just to evade the attack. He couldnt sense obito because of the speed. By the time naruto sensed anything obito was already ready to strike. Without kakashi's help then naruto would've sensed obito who would be right on top of him at that point.

No you're missing the point, Obito's intangibility is part of his speed.

Well think urself. KCM only has confirmed malice sensing. Naruto sensed others, but was it in KCM? Naruto sensing kurama's chakra (minato) was already mentioned. When minato spoke of sasuke, naruto had no idea.
Im not 100% sure, but ill demand a scan or GTFO.
